STERN'S NEW PIN FOR 2015?

Good ol' Tezza

Hell, I'm gonna admit it. I actually really like the look of it. I've never so much even had a slight twitch about buying a new stern. Not the tinyest bit interested. But if I had the cash I'd seriously consider this. I haven't so I won't.

The le looks awesome, was considering selling a few pins for a star trek, but now fancy this but will prob have to sell a couple extra, as it looks like it will have a big price tag!!

Gameplay wasn't good. I really wanted an LE too, the ring is dull, the flippers weak (new system teething apparently) and without much software I wasn't inspired

Not a bad looking machine, but doesn't have a lot going for it. Lack of sound didn't help. The ring is different but will get old pretty fast, and takes up too much of the playfield.

The Walking Dead Premium next to it stole the show, very nice

Once more a pin manufacturer does themselves absolutely NO favours by showcasing unfinished product. I realise they want to show their latest/upcoming stuff to ops but it's just becoming tiresome ....the big 'first showing' somewhere that invariably disappoints.

If it doesn't feature mick mack manus then you can keep it.

For those at the EAG has highway turned up? Or is it three years a no show?

To be fair to the Manufacturers though, you are lookig at their latest machine as a pinhead. Most operators will see wrestling, check, flashing lights, check. pinball machine, check. Sold

ok probably unfair to some ops.

He was there yesterday with 3 FT's, although only one was up and running.

I did ask one of his staff if there was any news on Alien, she said "yes, it's progressing" or something like that. Seemed to be quite a bit of interest around the stand, shame there was only one game to play, which was missing the Valentino figure.

Ditto for the Hobbit, the code needs a lot of work.

Oh totally agree. But NIB buying pinheads now make up a good part of the market , and poor first impressions of games - even at a 'trade' expo - can cloud future opinion and potential sales.
