Can’t beat a good Charvel, I don’t have any of the US models but the Mexican versions are damn good right out of the box, I have around 5 of them ..3 of which are the Satchel models, loving 80’s metal I kind of prefer a floyd rose.

Never had the opportunity to play a Charvel before - I'm more of a Les Paul guy* but if I had thr space/funds I wouldn't mind a Satchel model - that guy is a bit of monster player.
Most metal guitar I ever owned (apart from the ZW LP custom I sold last year) was probably an Ibanez RG470; kind of wish I hadn't sold that now; Maple Neck was lovely.
I do still own a Fender HM strat though, which I might move on as haven't played it in a while; made in like 1989 or something.

*have gotten back in to strats a bit again over thr past couple.of years - did a trade for an Ed O'brien strat recently which is nice and pre lockdown I got a MIJ fsr 60s strat (graffiti yellow), which I fell in love (shawbucker in the bridge, so more p90 sounding than balls out hunbucker)
Anyway, I can see a guitar thread being created...

Great amp too. Had a few of those.
The Warren guitars have the same necks as the original Charvel EVH art series.
Can not stand Les Pauls. Horrible to play. Its like going cross country running in your wellies.

I absolutely love this Warren Charvel, that’s why I have ordered the Snakeskin model.

Yes the 5150 is definitely a keeper, I still have the Mesa Dual Rectifier which has been used much less since I got this
