Spooky - Rick and Morty Pinball

I've had my Rick and Morty a few days now, and finally had time to give it a good play ( it came in the middle of a run of nightshifts! ).
I've had to spend hours tweaking things to get it playing right but it was worth it, it plays really well now. The upper left loop is quite easy to hit and fast, the lower left loop is hard to time off the flipper. Ramps are steep but fairly easy to hit. Light show is amazing as you'd expect from the designer of TNA. Sound is great and hilarious. Overall I'm very happy with it. If you have one on order apparently a lot of minor adjustments have been made so you shouldn't have to mess with it as much as I have to get it playing well.

very nice a pin I wished id grabbed when it went up but hopefully ill get to play one some point

No 20 wow you were very lucky, some will be waiting well into next year due to all this madness
 
What exactly are you referring to Kenny? if its the white bit on the bottom of the crystal that's a reflection. Or do you mean that the top of the scoop is visible?
 
Glad you're enjoying it, looking forward to getting mine. I've read that Spooky have made quite a few adjustments to the build process since the early machines went out the door which negates the need for a fair bit of the tweaking, particularly on the loop shots. I think given the way their line works it's always a bit of a gamble getting an early game, but to their credit they seem incredibly willing to help and share tips on how to get it playing as well as possible.

Anyone have any idea when the rest of the UK machines are likely to ship over here? I still can't decide if I want to go for the purple coin door or keep the black.
 
Looks absolutely amazing, dream theme for me, hopefully I'll get to flip one someday. Glad you're enjoying it Kev. SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT!!

I'm not defending Spooky's build quality, god knows I've had to spend a few hours fixing/aligning stuff but regarding the scoop if you guys are talking about the gaps it's by design, the sides have a raised bit on the end and is the only piece welded to the top. Similar to this design but with ****tier welding :)

You posted a picture saying the build quality was rough but it is hard to see what you are referring to? Looking at your photo I thought you meant the jagged edges of the scoop, maybe I'm seeing things that aren't there.

@kevlar How you getting on with the left ramp?
I’m watching Dangers Dead Flip stream and noticed he hits it quite often. The ball on a number of occasions appears to go near the top then roll back down.
I guess it’s just steep- would you consider this a minor?

I was having trouble with that ramp, it is steep for sure. After waxing the playfield I make it far more often, still takes a perfectly clean shot though, and the entrance is narrow ( it doesn't look narrow but it's partially blocked on the left side).
 
Really fancy one, but going to be a while until any for sale

Spooky got back in contact with me a few days ago and said :

‘Hey Harry!
So rough estimate would be about 9 weeks, but that could always change... And yes, we can possibly do that one off custom one extra for you, but will need to check pricing etc

So I’d say probably we’ll receive Phil’s bunch around Sept or Oct if delays. Have been doing a lot of research on this game, very much looking forward to mine 👍🏻

as opposed to all the other new games where they all work perfectly out of the box?? Pinball games = adjustments needed regardless . Nature of collecting. My 2p
