i'm drinking red wine, watching season 1 of The Sopranos, and loving it. never seen it before but thought i would cos of the pinball game. i've already downloaded season 2 in readiness, then i'll have 4 more seasons to watch after that

Just got told off because there is no tea cooking and I was still messing up the new kitchen. Just fitted the cooker extractor after a day of tiling. It needs a clean before I can grout it and I have lost the will to live.
Meanwhile, the missus has had a bad day so despite all my hard work, I am meant to be sympathetic. My mind, body and soul are just to exhausted.
I must keep thinking about the addition pinball space....;-/

Put a few more parts back onto Shadow earlier, then put some games on Dirty Harry (few beers whilst doing this) then went all Keith Floyd and made a curry whilst drinking more beer. Now watching Dara's Science Club, eating curry and drinking yet more beer :rockon:

Well tonight I cleaned all the adhesive off the tiles in preparation for grouting tomorrow.

btw Geoff, the 'new posts' button at the top of the page isn't working. i clicked it and it said there was nothing, but i clicked on activity stream and there's loads of new chatter. i can't risk missing out on someone saying something pinball related hundreds of miles away from me. oh, and you are a big old copycat on the Sopranos thing but i'm kinda pleased as we can discover it together and i can ask questions without the other perwon accidentally telling me someone already got clipped or whatever. i've been ploughing through, am on episode 12 now so almost ready for season 2.

We had Sopranos lined up to watch for about 2 months but had to finish Chuck and Game of Thrones first, only watched one episode so far....

All this talk of the Soprano's has got me interested, I'm another one who's never watched it I've put a few more bits on the Shadow tonight but was playing 5-a-side last night so just came home and collapsed on the sofa. Hopefully it'll be playable again by the weekend....loving some DH though :rockon:

I ran out of grout so the tiles were not finished but we had to deal with a gas leak from behind the new units so that took my attention. I was really hoping to get TAF back into it's new home by now and then call in some loan machines. No floor fitted yet so that is not going to happen this weekend.
I couldn't watch any more Sopranos, the media server was playing up due to having the power turned off without it being shutdown properly. Must buy a UPS for it.

wtf is a media server? i just downloaded the lot from the Pirate Bay and watch them on my laptop - i'm on season 2 episode 4 now i think.
it's good stuff, like a longrunning toned down version of Goodfellas/Casino, and i'm getting to like lots of the players, who are all very well drawn and characterised. my biggest disappointment was at the start of season 2 when Meadow grew from a slightly gawky, girlish, wispy but obviously pretty teenager into a girl with a pretty face but a big fat **** ..... in one year! i was hoping to see her become a real beauty, but the fame musta driven her to McDonalds a few too many times.
