Rumour of rebranding 'Queen' pinball to 'King'?

Mercury noted in an interview that he chose the name because “t’s very regal obviously, and it sounds splendid. It’s a strong name, very universal and immediate. I was certainly aware of the gay connotations, but that was just one facet of it.”

I can’t be done with this…
Planet Rock radio is playing Ballads 😬
I find it all unbearable - the press, entertainment, sport; everything with this massively over the top coverage. Hope it doesn't get as bad as Diana but it wouldn't surprise me - some people lap this stuff up and work themselves into a frenzy.

Agreed, we all feel a bit down over this but come on.........
Radio stations asking people to call the Samaritans FFS..
But the more they keep going over the top, it turns what is a respectful acknowledgement by the nation of loss into annoyance.
I blame all these Universitry grads who go into the Media and Entertainment industry.
Same idiots that tell us about the giant meteors and volcanic ativity because we have a spell of hot weather.... lol

Thats it, wheres my belt and polly bag.....
Pink Floyd 'Hey You' playing.....

There is two thoughts to this.
When the Queen's Dad died, I expect the nation would have been expected to come to a stop, everyone would be expected to show respect.
Roll on 70 years and what we have is the modern equivalent with a few obvious changes
  1. Media outlets go out of their way to sell a story by trapping you in, feeding you more and emotions are big traps
  2. Social media seems to have made people more entitled and 'feel' things
    1. This shows in how people outpour grief in ways that feel exaggerated, they never knew the person who died
    2. This grief is then shown on the media and the machine turns around and more and more emotion is pour out
The possible good side to this is that folks may have a jolly good grieving period and then get on with their lives as it is a healthy thing.

Don’t think so. They only had one hit, “Love & Pride” wasn’t even that good.
