Robot Bash Rescheduled Sat 18th Jan

I'm really sorry to say that I'm going to have to cancel Robot Bash. My back went almost two weeks ago and initially was healing but has stopped the last few days and if anything has got worse rather than better. I was hoping I would be able to struggle through, but not going to be able to and I wanted to make a decision to give people a few days’ notice.

Really frustrated.that I have to cancel and.that my back just doesn't seem to be improving at all.

Please can you either reply here, PM and me or e-mail me robotgreg@yahoo.com to let me know that you've seen the message cause because I would hate anyone to travel all the way down here for no reason.

I'll shortly refund everyone the registration fee.

I'm hoping that I'm going to be able to reschedule for Sunday, 19 January but that will depend on how things pan out.

Think it was a combination of lifting lots of leaves, boxes and in a freezing garage for 7 hours.

Back has gone a number of times in past so do try to be careful these days but has always recovered by now in past.
 
Don't worry about the cancellation (if you were).
Youre health is so much more important.

Look after yourself, get it checked out - again, and do what you're told. Complete bed rest is never recommended now, you need to keep somewhat mobile.

In the meantime, you get to enjoy watching Man U play, at least I'm enjoying them watching them play, almost as much as Man City. 😁

Trying to walk around. Definitely a lot worse when have been asleep or sat in car for any length of time

Apologies again for having to cancel the meet on the 30th. Thankfully my back is getter better again now.

So trying to rearrange Robot Bash. With other events already in the calendar, it seems like the weekend of 18th 19th January is the best bet.

I'm just trying to see which date works best for the original players and I'll confirm if it's the Sat 18th or Sunday 19th in a few days before the weekend.

I've emailed all the original participants but there were still some spaces left so if you would like to come along, registration will open Sat 4 Jan at midday. As before, please send £15 by paypal as to robotgreg@yahoo.com.

Format and times will all be the same as originally planned.

Hope to see some of you on 18th or 19th.

Quick update to say that the.Comp will now be on Saturday 18th of January.

As above, registration will open this Saturday at.Midday. As before, please PayPal £15 to robotgreg@yahoo.com friends and family. No need to go through Eventbrite.

Hope most of you who were originally planning to come along and maybe some others that couldn't make the original date can make this one.
