I was just thinking the same! I can't for the life of me think why you would do that.

Can only think that maybe the orig lamp/gate assembly was missing/fubar so this was installed.

Maybe Poibug/TYHO will shed some light on it, as it was his game until 2 weeks ago ...Chris ???? We need answers


UPDATE - just asked Poi. Yep - it was missing the gate and that fitted and does the job.

Doesnt really work like that, if he gets a good offer he'll likely just end the auction on the spot.

Lol you were right griz hes a stubborn git he's dropped it £50 that's as far as he will go. Told him if you don't manage to shift it come back and I'll give you 1k. A minty one sold on eBay last year for 1005 with topper.

Pretty easy task if you have a ROM burner A very handy tool to have but they can get expensive if you want one that supports some of the less common EPROMS.
