obviously i know some of these are stupidly expensive but you never know when a cheap one will pop up so worth a try. I know theres more machines i cant think of at the mo so i will consider others

Quite a range in likely prices there rudedogg, let the search commence and good luck.

No Fish Tales on your list and seeing you just sold you aquarium I thought you may have included it just in case you started to miss them.
Great first machine as well.

Yep. Good luck, I admire your optimism BUT you will not find a 'cheap' big title, you might well get a reasonable priced one thru folk on here but 'cheap' deals happen off forums ....lucky finds, word of mouth, bulk deals, a truly trashed machine that will be cheap for good reason, whatever it takes ....and they are harder and harder to find . Just tellin it like it is

And if you are on a budget don't get hung up on the usual suspect 'A' listers, yes they are good games, but so are loads of the 'less glamourous' titles.

Oh I'm not hung up on em but I can dream lol

There are a lot of "A listers" on that list mate! I reckon you'd get bored of BoP as a lone machine, as quirky as it is and as much as I enjoy it, it's not very deep and the shots are repetitive. I owned a BoP as my first pin and sold it after about 6 months. I've since purchased another and enjoy it more as part of a larger collection. I agree with Daz, Black Rose is fantastic fun and will hold your appeal as single machine for longer. Fishtales is another awesome game. The last thing you wanna do is buy a game which you have to manhandle through a window to get in your flat, only to have to do it all over again in a couple of months. If however you've got 3-4k as a budget, go nuts on those trophy titles and enjoy it for many years......... Or not;-)

let's see if we can work on your list by losing the ones that are outside your 2K budget -

bride of pinbot
tales from the crypt
frankenstein
funhouse
attack from mars
twilight zone
theater of magic

bramstokers drac
adams family
black rose
TOTAN
Lotr
tron

scared stiff
creech
Mb

that's better. your new list:

bride of pinbot ............ i agree, a bit samey
tales from the crypt ......go for it!
frankenstein .............meh
funhouse ............ go for it!
bramstokers drac ....... go for it!
black rose .......... go for it!
scared stiff ..... you might be lucky and get one under 2 grand, but i think there's not too many left. great game, nice and easy, loads of fun.
creech ............. go for it!

also consider these: South Park, The Shadow, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Twister, Lethal Weapon 3, Police Force, The Getaway, Star Trek TNG ......

unbelievable not butter.jpg

If you can get a scared stiff under £2k go for it.
i absolutely loved the one I had and should I ever break my rule of not having more than one pin at home it would definitely be o my hit list as a keeper!
superb machine, that I personally enjoyed more tan my old TAF!
:)

That was poibug/Chris/TYHO old machine - he just traded it. So you know it will be in good solid shape. 1250 seems a bit high to me, especially with no topper (doesnt bother me but if it had a topper believe me the seller would be banging on about it).

I'll give that one a miss then maybe

More great pins to consider:

White water
Judge Dredd
World Cup Soccer
Star Wars
Starship Troopers
Goldeneye
Jackbot
Indy500

Mate, once you start making lists of pins you might like to have, believe me, you can spend a lot of time doing exactly that! Which is a lot of fun, I'm sure I'm not the only one who does it.

Can you imagine if there was a supermarket with everything available and all working perfectly all lined up and flashing and yowling like in an arcade, but all with a for sale notice and a price tag on? That would be pretty sweet :D

Indeed lol was tempted by the tftc but don't think I should jump on the first one offered (prob would of if it wasn't a lil overpriced lol)

What is a fair price for a tftc with no wear on the pf and hardly a mark on the cab? There's another one on the bay that takes offers might try knocking him down to a realistic price. Thing that puts me off is the desplay is in German can that be changed?

RudeDogg, At the bottom right of your post there is an "Edit Post" button.

If you click that you can add things on to your post if you remember something you forgot to say. This way you don't have to keep double or triple posting in a row.

Good luck in your search.

No someone off the yahoo group

Same ebay one - if it was Tobin/Nick Nastus

Personally I would say no more than 1K really in current climate for a good one. But I'm sure people might pay more if they REALLY want one.

Saying that :rolleyez:...the last one on ebay from Roger Airplane sold for 1.2K. But then thats ebay prices.

He may also have accidentally bought that from himself too.
