Pins to play in central Bristol

Please report back if you do. Bristol is so pinball baron.
There used to be a Champion Pub in the Black and White cafe in St Paul’s. I had a friend who said it was a great place, but I never risked it
Had no idea about this one either, can't say it's a pub I would normally frequent, but might pluck up the courage to pop my head in if I'm ever near by!

Cat and wheel is Ace :) Havent been in there for years mind, however i remember the pool table and darts board...

Was thinking about going to Neils comp, would be good to meet a few people and see some decent players.

Come on down dood - would be great to see you.

Can go to the midlands but play for fun will if I place for points they won’t count! Will see you for the 1/3/20 at flip our though.

Wayne I think that’s correct?

That's correct, you can play in as many regions as you please. However you need to nominate which region will count for points.
Any others that you play in, the co-ordinator will produce 2 sets of results. 1 with everyone, and 1 with just the players for that region to be submitted to the website.

I've attended the Northern meetings a few times, and some Northerners have attended the Midlands meetings.

Bristol has been very bad for some time in terms of sited pins. Wayne actually asked not that long ago and I genuinely couldn't think of one! I had no idea about the cat and wheel, I will definitely check that out at some point. I actually did pop into playnation a few weekends ago for 20 minutes. They have a Star Trek Pro and a Transformers. The Star Trek is on release code and the right flipper is sticky. They are both a bit dirty but played ok

Thanks for the heads up.

I'm going all the way to Bristol tomorrow to see a band. Was planning to drop by HLD on the way.

Went over at lunchtime today and had a couple of games on each - both were indeed pretty dirty!

The sound on the Star Trek was off and the rhs flipper staying part way up made the left lock lane shot very difficult.

The transformers sound was quiet but at least it was on, the game did play ok but Optimus Prime had collapsed, the Spark Cube was missing and the captive ball lane didn’t work as the car didn’t drop back far enough rest on the captive ball to be hit back up the lane.

It wouldn’t take too much work to clean them up and get them working really nicely.....
