Hi guys

Please can you advise on where one can play a few games in the Bristol area? Will be there Tuesday night.

Has this place actually got pins in @Hullshark ?

I don't work all that far away so I'll try and head there one lunchtime if it has!

I’m planning a look this Tuesday maybe kongs bars which according to the website has video games can’t see pinball there....

The showroom is about as far away from central as you can get - in fact it's in south Gloucestershire!!

Bristol is in fact incredibly bad for pins... There was a pub that used to have a couple in, however in not sure they exist any more.. Weston super mare is your best bet, and that isnt much better :)

I can’t think of one pub in weston that has a pin, used to be TAF in a place called Cheers but that pin is gone now. There was also an old simpsons pin in a pub that has now be converted to a smokehouse resteraunt so also gone. The pier has a few sterns I believe, but I think the arcades on the front only contain boring redemption stuff now.

Its really depressing that there are hardly any pins on location and financially crippling if you are addicted[emoji30]

I’m not that bad and can wait till I return to flip out on Thursday

Lucky you got that nearby, sweet FA where I live but I might be in Chiswick Wednesday[emoji1]

An hour and a half from home but well worth the journey I can assure you! Planning to attend the first midlands meet at fife street in a couple of weeks time followed by London on 1/3 and neils comp the following Sunday in Woking!!

Was thinking about going to Neils comp, would be good to meet a few people and see some decent players.

Already signed up hope you see you there where are you based again?

:thumbs:The Cat and Wheel on Gloucester road ,( @ under the Arches railway bridge) less than 1/2 mile from centre
There is a pinball machine there, I think it's a G.O.T.

Might pop in there as at holiday inn express temple Gate.

Ben. Just a quick heads up but I don’t think you can register and play in two different regions for the U.K. league. So if you go to a midlands meet I don’t think you can then play in the SE ones.

I could be wrong but I think that’s how it works

Can go to the midlands but play for fun will if I place for points they won’t count! Will see you for the 1/3/20 at flip our though.

Wayne I think that’s correct?

Yes, you can play for fun in as many UK leagues as you like but only one can count.

@roadshow16 normally has a good steer on pins in and around Bristol. Special When Lit frequently has visitors from the Bristol area for our Friday night openings.

Please report back if you do. Bristol is so pinball baron.
There used to be a Champion Pub in the Black and White cafe in St Paul’s. I had a friend who said it was a great place, but I never risked it

There used to be a Super Mario in The Lanes but don't remember seeing it when I was last there in November

Bristol has been very bad for some time in terms of sited pins. Wayne actually asked not that long ago and I genuinely couldn't think of one! I had no idea about the cat and wheel, I will definitely check that out at some point. I actually did pop into playnation a few weekends ago for 20 minutes. They have a Star Trek Pro and a Transformers. The Star Trek is on release code and the right flipper is sticky. They are both a bit dirty but played ok
