Pinball Republic Returns - Everything You Need To Know & Video Tour!

What would it take to be open on more than 3 days? :) I love coming :)
Or maybe some kind of member access outside of hours or is that rife with more downsides than upsides(people leaving the store in disarray, unlocked, etc)
Also, is there any chance of getting a stool or two? I like standing for 5 hours as much as the next guy lol

I finally made it over to Croydon to see the New PR. Wow, great stuff. Such a great venue located in the shopping center. I can highly recommend it. Very pleased to see a fantastic mix of games old and new playing superbly.

Very easy to get to, I caught the SL5 bus from Bromley which took 30 minutes. Lots of food venues nearby.

Come on down and help support Pinball on location

First time at Pinball Republic yesterday, great collection of classic and modern pins. Lots of games I'd never played before. Mainly focused on playing the classics. Beatles was an absolute blast to play, and PF just gets better every time I play it. Got to say the pitch on some of the modern Sterns was really steep, FF and TWD come to mind so I found them tough. With the critical hit matchplay next weekend is it group or head to head? I really want to come but it's going to be touch and go to wether I can make it or not. Anyway a great club that is highly recommended if anyone hasn't been before.

It is group matchplay Glen. Great day guaranteed, your buddy @Taxiturn already couldn't resist and signed up the other day! :)

Yeah, the prospect of a new tournament format and a crack on UXM was just too alluring… I’ve gone from “I need to slow down a bit” to “four weekends between now and the end of year” very quickly

Just a brief summary of my recent visit to PBR
Yesterday. For the critical hit tournament.
What a great club and atmosphere. All were friendly and welcoming, even to a forest dweller like my good self. The selection of games is very splendid indeed. (With a balanced mix of dmd era, stern moderns and classics machines. Including many rare classic sterns, where else would you find so many? Although the absence of a seawitch did initially cause some distress, it quickly faded……..)……

Worthy of mention first i feel was the diversity of players, not only in abilities/comp experience but also age. All really enjoying themselves.
Seeing the younger players eyes light up with every shot reminded me of how i felt playing pinball as a youth. That excited feeling only pinball can give you. It was a pleasure to play with you guys. (Ozkar, lucy,Daniel,James,George and Eneko). Apologies if I have left any of you out, that’s what happens when you become an ole duffer! Or maybe we just didn’t play one another 😊
Second point. Is the fun element that the critical hit cards add to the gameplay. Would someone play a card, if so when, what would it be? A really enjoyable day. Thanks again to all that were involved in organising this event. We all had fun!

So in conclusion, this is a couple of reasons why PBR is awesome and worth a visit. All the above being said…… PBR Is most definitely my second favorite pinball venue in the country..
(If you know, you know 😉)
Best wishes to you all. Keef 🤗👊🏼

Great post Keith, thankfully they do have Beatles so you can get your Seawitch-adjacent fun 😉

Also really enjoyed my first taste of Critical Hit!
