Hi has anyone been to the pinball museum in Hungary? Is it worth a visit how long is needed? Are all the games playable? Thanks

totally worth it. Great chilled vibe and Budapest is beautiful. When I visited last year it was around £10 for a day pass.

Flights by wizzair are quite cheap and plenty of good hotels and excellent places to eat.

It’s amazing, a group of us went there a couple of years ago.
You could/can get a day pass fairly cheaply. Don’t think we booked but it may have changed.
Very much recommended 😊

We flew from Luton last year, was really simple. We used a minibud shared transfer from airport in Budapest to hotel and back. Would recommend, really simple and good service.

I go sometimes a few times a year (Neil posted one of my videos above)

The place is great. A really good mix of games.

Maintenance is on Monday/Tuesday, so if you want to see the most amount of working games then visiting Weds/Thursday is best.

Avoid Saturday daytime as it will be absolutely packed.

It would probably take 3-4 evenings to play everything

Incase anyone is wondering, it costs 10,000-11,000huf by taxi (£20-£23) from the airport to the Jewish quarter, and is the fastest way to get to Budapest. Not a bad price really

Not been, but there is also Game Galaxy to check out in Budapest too
That place is private hire (£450 for 3 hours last time I checked) It seems to have a lot of the machines from the old arcade at the shopping centre across the river, that is sadly no longer

Went a few years ago with a group of pinballers and it was great but also Budapest was beautiful - make sure to go on the big wheel and take a boat down the Danube 👍

Don't know if they still do it, but it used to be possible to also visit Zen studios (makes of Pinball FX etc.) who are also in the centre of Budapest.

Thanks all headed there this afternoon! Will try and fit game galaxy on Monday while my other two non pinball friends visit a spa!!
