How come the ac/dc one I posted is coloured frame by frame but the others aren't?

So it is possible to install the software that is already used on another type of coloured dmd already on these
For popular games I'm sure people will do the work and colour them though
No - you cant stick other solutions on there - only pin2dmd and if Luis decided to produce his own i believe.
However if someone creates a colour solution for this screen then it can be shared, yes
Try this http://vpuniverse.com/forums/files/file/4179-vpinmame-sam-for-pin2dmd-editor/
The dump is activated when you activate
both checkboxes "Use PinDMD" and "Show DMD Window" in the Game Settings
together. Ignore the pindmd error message if it is not attached
Have you found a reliable source for the displays?
How far off is this from a complete, in a box product (like ColorDMD) ?
But what about obtaining the correct panels ? Isn't that the tricky bit ?According to the project pages on VPUniverse, they will never be sold commercially and no one will be given the right to sell them commercially. I know some have already asked about buying licences to make and sell them.
So afaik, they will always be a kit, where you then have to register the software via donation to lucky

There is a guy in Spain that is selling them as a complete unit (I think) but I'm not sure about the firmware. It looks like Paul got his from one place, although at an inflated price.
The panels cost only £30-£40 IF you can find someone who is not a lying scumbag on Ali express

Thanks @Lucky1 - How about for Non-Stern tables? Will the same dll work??
Anyone know an actual REAL source for the LED displays?
I've now wasted money on 2 different ones that don't work (as recommended by people on the VPUniverse thread) but it turns out they are actually GRB displays and don't work properly. At this stage, it would be cheaper to have bought a real DMD
They work also with this version
GRB panels work also with current firmware. You currently just have to swap cables (R1-G1 and R2-G2)
