To be honest Daz the C3 picaaso is a van with seat and windows!!! that's why I like it cos you are still low down as if driving a car/van unlike the MPV type vehicle driving positionGat a van and have done with it, it way cooler than a car as well.
Sam with the Audi A6 Estate...the roof is just too low at the back.Careful of the Saab 9-3 Estate. Lovely car and looks like it will take a pin. But it doesn't!
My vote is for the trusty Ford Focus Estate. A great pin carrier.
Will a pin fit in a VW Tiguan with ease?
Just open the boot and measure from the top of the tailgate to the inside of the roof. It's nearly always this height that they fail on. You need at least 77cm if memory serves (76 may be ok for some, 75 almost certainly a problem for many games).
thanks for that man - pretty much set my mind on the C3 now, and like you say the floor is totally flat and the boot lip to to top height is 32" which is ample to slide a 90s bally in.@newdos
I have a diesel 2010 C3 Picasso and I've done many pin trips with it. It only failed once when I tried to fit in an older Gottlieb - 'Class of 1812'. The new model shape doesn't look much different to mine so I would imagine the boot will be identical. I love how the boot is level like an estate so a pin just slides right in. I get around an average of 60 mpg when I do a pin trip and the tax is only £30 per year.
cool cheers manI tend to pop a piece of carpet down in the boot so the the pin slides in even easier. The carpet also folds over the entrance to the boot to protect the rear bumper plastic. 90's Bally and Williams and modern Sterns are a breeze.
cheers man - yeah in my previous car I used a nice sheet of hardboard worked a treat!Similar to Onze I always put a long thick piece of cardboard (side of a Stern pinball box oddly enough) when loading pins in my Jazz, makes it easier for pushing and to not damage the boot and back of seat fabric

yeah thats the only down side Daz - but for the love of pinball looks dont always countYes it can carry a pin but it's chuffin pig ugly.

Hi Sven - I want frugal though as it has to double up for a car for work!!Looked at it and it's got too small an engine IMO. I've now looked at every damn car on the market and without paying 30K it's virtually impossible to buy a new car that will do the job. Looks like a 4x4 is really the only option for me.
I hate to say it but the Jeep Renegade is looking likely. Crap plastics and poor quality, here we come!
They aren't that bad...did a jeep off-road thing in one and better that I thought. Cheap!Looked at it and it's got too small an engine IMO.
