Bowl of sick was indeed free. White dots in 5th picture are just flaking bits of dried up rubber, they just brushed off the surface.

Looks like crumbled rubber particles.I presume the bowl of 'sick' in your early photos came free
Great photos. 5th picture in, the play field has white dots/marks which I'm guessing is through the paintwork and to the wood. Did you repair this? Can these marks be touched up easily?
