Is there that much demand for Fun House that it needs a Repro?
My favourite game l don't currently own but with last quite nice one hitting £3500 on eBay are the economics there for a big money remake

Although it's a WPC if you class it as a Sys11 as the style feels it's definitely top of the pile alongside Whirlwind.
There's a ton of similarities with TAF. Feels like a practice run from Lawlor and the design later got developed.
Also super hard if setup right. Keeps you coming back - more than many in the same era

Funhouse is in the list of a machine I would buy if one came up and I was in a position to buy. But I would expect the price of manufacturing this would mean I am not the target audience.
I didn’t think I was the target audience of MMr, AFMr, MBr or CCr but there are reasons the originals demand a high price. So getting to own a “new” one makes some sense, if fixing them isn’t part of your entertainment from the hobby.

I assume this would come with 2.0 installed?
Looks to be 2.0, but with improvements for the new code such as auto ball launch

I thought the 2.0 kit was horrid after the initial WOW.
I used to just play the original version on the 2.0 boardset. At least then you get a great audio package.
Pedretti make Pinball Brothers games. I hope that these remakes are done with the FAST/Pinsound boards and not Pinball Brothers style technology.

They have a list of games that they will be producing. Similair to what Haggis have/had.

I think there are a group of about 10 games from that era which can fall into that.
Like Getaway, STTNG, Demolition man, T2, CFTBL, Dr Who, IJ, Judge Dredd, Roadshow......

The LE also has 2.0 code.

Well 2,0 is £2.2K on its own I suppose.
People have paid over that for a pinball heaven restoration.
It was a lovely looking game. And it played well too, felt very natural.

Also thought it looked and played fantastic. Thinking of dropping Phil an email about this midnight version..
Had a go on the one in Great Yarmouth today. Had 3 credits on it when I got there, left it with 2 on it (after a few games) when I came back to put a couple of quid in the coin mech wasn’t working, so only had about 4 games on it.
Here’s my thoughts.
It had that “Alien” feel to it… the playfield feels a bit…. Sanitised. Odd I know. I’ve had NIB games and I can’t put my finger on it. Wasn’t a NIB feel. Not floaty. Sanitised? Slippy? Not waxed… I don’t know how to describe it…
What’s going on with Rudys head?
- swear he looked like Daryl Strawberry in “Homer at the bat.” Did they always look like that?
Flippers felt really odd, don’t remember that in Alien, it was sited, maybe someone had played a lot and left the credits on there?
Large DMD was lovely, that’s a nice touch. Loved that.
I got a lot of multiballs. Shooting the “phone” scoop.
If you like to original I would try it. It’s very modern bling. New code is interesting but doesn’t flow like a story like DI, Hobbit, or a modern Stern (FF, Avengers etc.,)
