P3 Multimorphic teasing Portal!?

I wonder how easy it would be to pull the samples run them through an AI model to replicate merchants voice and replace on the game.
Been thinking about how cool that would be to replace the announcer voice in stern star wars with C3PO...

@David retro ooooh, depending on Price I am seriously contemplating a MultiMorphic...... only got space for one more game and this means i can have 2-3 more... kinda...

Pricing for portal now up on website along side the pre order deposit options for all game kits
I will add the other kits and the princess bride options up soon as

Any questions please let me know

Discount for taking more than one game kit at time of ordering

Interesting.... for some reason I thought the price would be hire.
Wondering how much space each individual kit takes up when not in use...(heads to YT..)

They show is as the back part with the custom playfield parts, which comes out as a cassette. The information indicated that this was all that was needed to be changed, so I assume it hs the relavent game rules, sound roms etc. It is slightly smaller width than a pinball machine, so in a box, I would expect I could fit 3 under a machine, so could have 4 games in total. If I had £20k and they had 4 games I would want to own, that brings the per game cost down a lot.
I need to play one first though, that is the rules of the house.

Good point re; needing to play one first!

The cartridge style system looks really well done; not janky atall, and the Weired Al table looks really cool.

Curious to see what the cost per game module is. It’s definitely an interesting prospect now that there are a fair few games I’d consider.
In the U.S, modules cost between $3- $3.5k (not sure about Proncess Bride; maybe more, as a licenced property?)
I love the idea of being able to swap out games (as long as the games match up to say a Stern/jjp/Spooky game - no point having 3 games if they are all crap/don't have long term replayabikity)

I could see this generally doing well in the UK as we're generally more starved for space than the Americans (I'm probably limited to 3/4 pins max for the next couple of decades!) But as everyone says, I'd want to play one in the wild first, and know there are a few modules I'd like and are good games in their own right.

"I'm probably limited to 3/4 pins max for the next couple of decades!" Lucky git:-) - would love to even have space for two he he
You are right re; could be great for u.k based players who don't have basements (or huge credit card limits?...;-) like our American freinds.

I've always been interested in this, but like everyone else I want to play one first. I believe 2 models are great, heist and weird, unsure about princess bride, portal too new for any chatter.

Cost of modules vary if you want the art, side, back box. I believe the side art is a magnet, similar to wizmods, so just sticks to the side.

Portal changed this pricing further as they have an enhanced pack which puts some features in the lower part of the playfield which originally was always pretty bare, my understanding is the screen is semi interactive, it understands a ball has passed, I'm assuming it plays like revenge from mars pretends it's doing, but on this it's an actual screen sensors, rather than a hidden switch with projected graphics over it.

The fact they haven't gone bust yet and are now producing interesting themes, makes it very interesting.

Without playing one I suspect the games won't feel like traditional pinball, which might put some off, but it appears there begining to fill out the missing gaps with the enhanced lower part.

That P3 took an age to sell too. Bearing in mind the newer machines have all the upgrades so an early P3 might be a hard sell. Not many in the uk though..
I would only go for the portal cab, there others would require some sort of upgrades. Although princess bride I'm not 100 sure about, don't think it has the enhanced lower. It does say on multiporphic website what extras you need

Hi David,

Exciting news about securing the distribution of P3! Many folks here have mentioned they’re eager to try it out before making a commitment. If you could bring a game along to Pinfest, I know everyone would really appreciate it! Thanks so much! 🙂👍

I need to be able to play one before i jump (it's a lot of cash whichever way you look at it) but this is the 3rd MM game I'm really liking the look of (Portal, Wierd Al, Heist). Hopefully be able to play at Pinfest (unless anyone knows of one in public before then? maybe within a sensible distence of Brighton?)
Gnaaaagh, so Damn tempted / close...

There may be a few in the UK, I've only ever heard of 1 person with one though https://www.pinballinfo.com/communi...achine-with-heist-playfield.51423/post-436721 . I've always been interested in the P3 but like everyone else I need to flip one to even consider buying one.

That’s the only one I’m aware of and also (coincidentally) the one that I’ve played. I really enjoyed Heist and was v tempted to buy but timing wasn’t great.

I’m also interested in the P3 but I’d like to try a few other modules before committing as I’d like to see how different the various games feel given that the lower 2/3rds of the playfield is essentially the same on all the games except Portal Extended and one cross playfield wireform on Weird Al.

Got to have a go on Final Resistance and Princess Bride at the Chicago Expo last year and enjoyed playing both, didnt really notice anything off with the flippers the way they are done, but then Im not really a top level player anyway.

I believe all new P3 cabinets now also come with the upper left and right flipper assemblies and not the just the bank of switches on each side over the playfield screen as with older cabinets.
