I have a Revenge From mars the PC died in. Looking for a Nucore or a replacement PC. let me know if anyone has one to sell or would be willing to help me set one up for a price.

Thanks

Pinball 2000 was run using a commercial PC with the Cyrix Media GX CPU. The software depends on the
integrated graphics in the Media GX CPU to operate. The PRISM card is a PCI card that carried the masked
ROMs (64MB, the most dense possible in a 16-bit configuration), and ran the basic boot process of the PC to run
Pinball 2000. Along with the PRISM card, the PC contained a custom audio amp to drive the stereo speakers
and subwoofer.

Nucore Machine Specifications (Minimum)

Intel (E-6600) or AMD X2 5000 dual-core processor (or greater)
A motherboard with an integrated parallel port
2GB of system ram
8GB of mass storage (for os and application)
Compatible video - integrated or card (for use with original Pin2000 monitors an Ultimarc Arcade VGA PCI adapter or another video card with a scan line converter. Not required for use with a LCD monitor)
Compatible sound - integrated or card (check Ubuntu site for suggestions)
CDROM drive for initial software load

My setup uses PC with Dell Optiplex 755 0PU052 Motherboard as my RFM does not have PRISM card. Installed with Pinbox (Similar program to Nucore). Bios has to be set up boot on power.

Have setup CD iso for Pinbox and instructions or can provide HD image.

Hope this information helps.

Jim @myPinballs is your specialist on here, as a stater for 10 have you looked at the power supply? And I think there are 2 number button batteries that need replacing regularly has it ever had any maintenance? Might be worth having a look? If then it’s a big job send it to Jim.

My original computer won’t boot anymore. Caps are good and I replaced the power supply. I have reach out to Jim at mypinballs for options. Appreciate the advice.
