Next colour DMD is........TZ and WH20

Agree with the left outlane. Bad design. I'm so happy to finally have at least some discussion with someone who has played Popeye and given it a chance :grouphug:

Quite a few people played it down at the parlour, and seemed to enjoy it ??
I just walked off shaking my head in disgust. :tsk:

Saw this over on Pinside

The SIGMA display gives 3 options, and I think 50 diff colour choices, and if I understand correctly is useable in any dmd machine. Very interesting :biggrin1:

With these coming out now I can see the price of DMD's getting a lot cheaper.
Even second hand one's should drop in price.
All good.

Looks awesome. I have one on my TAF and am really pleased with it - love the animations when you hit the pops for example and the multiball start is terrific. Could I justify one for Whitewater too?? Perhaps if I then sell the two DMDs I'll have replaced - maybe, just maybe?!

Certainly interesting and I understand why they went for b&w but, on first impression, I think I prefer the regular orange DMD - oh no, am I afraid of change?!

I love the colour option, thats great.
But personally, I'm not feeling the upscaling. I prefer the crispness of each dot. They do a similar filter-esque technique with old videogames that get upscaled to HD, and I just think it looks like its "smudged" together.

I'll wait to see it in person before I judge too harshly. And regardless whether *I* like it, I'm really glad that all these options are being made available for pinball owners.
