New pinball clock

Over £200....

I have a replacement sample frame that I need to check out (thanks Nick!), and then I can order a batch of say 10 - there is a rival replacement of the processor board made in Germany, and seems to have lots of bells and whistles (along with gps clock adjustment and the ability to create/use your own animations. I'll order a sample to see what it's like.
I also have some displays in the post, but they take over a month coming from China....

Working away a lot at the moment, however should have a sample all set up in a few weeks if anyone is interested???

Very nice clock, over £200 does that include everything?

Just it takes 2× dmd which sell for about £200 each.

If it includes the dmd's why are they so expensive for pins?

Imagine how good this would be with colour dmd!

This looks like it's the only clock worth having in any games room.

image.jpeg The clock uses two led panels not two pinball dmds.

The panels are nearly twice the height of a dmd panel but not as long, hence why you need two.

Thanks for that Ian, got carried away with how nice it looks without looking into how it goes together.

Do you have one or are you getting one?

Just wanted to know if it's a plug and play?

Also not plug and play when I got mine. Got panels and controller board from one guy and the frame and nuts&bolts from another. Easy enough to assemble but not reading the instructions I managed to assemble it about three times before it was right

I think my wife might like one for our wedding anniversary, price depending.

The whole lot, all the bits needed to make a clock. Then @Julian said he's gonna make it for me.

Does this thing come with (eventually) all the DMD animations from all the DMD pins?

Just an update - I am also looking at another option which is German built, but seemingly superior and cheaper (around 30 Euro cheaper for the controller itself!), however you can create your own animations as required, rather than being stuck with the ones provided.
It also has a few extra bells and whistles which enhance it.

More info as i get it :D

am hoping to supply in either Kit or Pre-built forms for those not so technical :D

I do love the look of these but I'm not technically minded in the slightest - so would be very interested in buying a pre-built one if they were available!

I'm intrested will it be the same type of frame
Yup - the only difference should be the ability to take newer LCD panels (they changed the mounts for them not that long ago)....

I have some on the way from China as i type - should be here in about a week or two, and also have one of the German boards on the way, so i can do a side by side comparison of the two options.

I'll only be doing the "better" of the two, whichever that is :)

@Julian - Just wondered - do you have a list of the hardware parts for the frame at all that you used? Seems silly for me to re-invent the wheel and start making parts lists if someone has already done it :) Cheers!
