The Munsters Pro £4950

Only recently bought this from the forum but the game’s just not for me.
  • 1637 Lifetime plays currently
  • Purple powder coat *tiny chip in one siderail, legs have some minor scuffs/ dings
  • Speaker lights
  • Art blades *a few nicks in places
  • Grandpa head shooter knob *has some wear in places
  • Herman plastic protector
  • Wifi dongle and sd card to allow IC hometeam
  • Flipper coil stops and sleeves just replaced
  • Grandpa scoop mod *unfitted. Grandpa had a fall in transit to mine and his hand broke off. I’ve removed the mod so it can be glued back together as it’s a pretty clean break. Original plastic included too so take your pick on which you prefer
  • Glass has a mark/ scratch down the full length of it, it’s off to one side so I don’t notice it when playing
  • Back of cab has some damage from transport

If you’d like more details or photos let me know. Happy for you to view and collect yourself or use Martin or Matt Vince, both have been here before.

Looks in good condition to me, think it's more of a case of seller being very honest, so appears problems that most on here wouldn't even list. As there not really.

a modern pro for just over £5k sounds a good price.

Keeping it for a short period of time means nothing one man's pinball is another pain.

My record is 8 hours for a revenge from mars, hate it, but loads love it, yes it had the full my pinballs update 🤭😉🤘

Honestly who looks at the rear of a machine, it's black it's 💩 and of zero interest to most and in 99 of cases up against a wall.

It happens if people don't put blankets down on the floor and try to wiggle move it, a lot wouldn't put duvets and stuff on the floor.

All that's happened is it's been moved once or twice, when it's dropped it's gone on a gravel drive or something and people don't realise that the ground will scratch it.

lolz, well said sir, i fully agree.
i was once moving my AFM with @Calimori on a trolley (he was borrowing it for a bit) when it fell off into the bushes. we both laughed about it. it wasn't a big deal. the only important bits are the playfield and the flippers. you are taking it too seriously

Yep. Nothing being hidden in this listing so no issue - scratched up rear ….. so ?
And not everything has to be showroom trophy perfect. I swear some folk on here would have a heart attack and drop dead if they saw some of the cabs on my older pins past and present 😂

I haven't seen this Munsters, but I did borrow a Stranger Things off Jib after she had listed it on here. Based on the listing, I was expecting a good quality machine with a few minor issues - it was, in fact, absolutely immaculate.
Het listings are brutally honest and overly critical. I'd buy with complete and utter confidence.

As for the back of the machine. I got asked for pictures of the back of a machine I was selling from a known tyre-kicker, along with number of plays. He got his pics but was added to the list of people I wouldn't sell a machine to if they were to offer double my asking price.

You dont look at the mantlepiece while you're poking the fire."

It's okay all, someone is trying to take over Neil's head troll status.

I would put @Jib in the 'good guys' category in this forum. I would recommend buying from them.

The last seller did not put any photos of the back of the cabinet, and to be honest - I would never ask for one!

I am with @Wayne J on this one.

It is a good job that a lot of people who are in the hobby now did not see what happened to games a decade or two ago. They would be in an asylum rocking gently backward and forwards.

@Jib - good luck with the sale - and hello to your other half!

I include pics of the rear of machines because it matters to some, same with number of plays and shooter lane pics. I’ve bought games not knowing these things but understand it does matter to some so the info is there if someone wants it. Including that info in my ads also saves me time responding to multiple people asking the same questions or provides it to someone reluctant to ask.

In terms of number of plays, the back of the cab isn’t what gets played so isn’t a good indicator. Look at the playfield photos. The wire form returns drop directly on the switches, when there is a design like that those areas usually wear. I’ve included photos of those areas specifically, they are in good condition.

Also I think it’s important to say that the previous seller sent me additional pictures and details via DM even though I hadn’t asked.

If anyone would like more photos or has any questions just ask, questions aren’t committing to anything and I’ll reply when I can.

Just for added detail as someone asked, payment via bank transfer, actual cash of this amount would just be a pain for me personally, sorry.

So this was yours @kevlar? I take it fran was the new custodian of it and is now selling it after a few days of ownership?

I built a database. Waste of time. You have to price in the now. Historical prices are just something for over payers to fret about and hard negotiators / lucky twunts to smarm about
