Evening all, for sale is my super pimped OG Metallica Premium.
If the remaster wasnt out, this game would never be leaving, but being such a big 'tallica fan, id like to get the remaster (even if I'm conflicted as ro wether its worth the extra £3k+£2k on accessories ik gonna need to fork out..)
Not a massive rush, as no remasters in stock for it seems and itd be nice to reach EOTL before it goes.
If i can't sell for a good price, I'll just keep it for longer.

I'm based in East London (Upton Park - not far from Stratford) and Martin has been round many times (+Matt V knows where I am too)
Obvs, if somone has a remaster (prem or LE) and for some reason would like some spondolix and an OG, let me know!

Looking for £8.5k.
Happy for the buyer to come round for a cuppa and play it first.

May consider a trade for something (would proritise a trade+cash coming my way), but straight sale very much preffered.

Only imperfection I can see is a bit of a scrape mark on the right back corner (near the back leg)
currently has an aftermarket MOP/LE translight installed, but also have the original "monsters" premium translight (not the crap road case one!...)
Edit: as per pics in post further down, I have the backbox secured using the verticle holes inside the backbox, as when it arrived I had trouble getting the a bolt into the righside hole (factory drilled the hole slightly off?) - all secure though, but thought I'd mention it.

Loads of mods including:

UV lightbars and powerblades(?)
Lovely purple powdercoated lockdown bar+armour
Colour dmd (LCD)
Upgraded speakers and sub (by new forrest pinball)
Shaker motor
invisiglass
Speaker lights
Edit: speaker panel magnetic artwork saround (can easily be removed in 1 second)
Graveyard arch mod (which flashes, unlike most)
Sparky helmet wire (either reacts to UV light or is lit itself, can't tell)
Scoop light (purple)
Snake fangs
Fuel target green blacklight
Various gell inserts (fuel/pick inserts - easily removed)
Shooter lane protector
Col's illuminous plastic protectors
Snake ramp mod (decal and plastic)
Metal orbit post
Original bagged Manual included
Brand new spare set of drops targets (with decals on and springs)

Since I've owned it, apart from installing the MOP translight and Snake ramp mod, I also purchased and replaced the sparky magnet core with a brand new one, so it'll be great for years and no risk of damage from mushrooming.
Also installed a Metal orbit up post (the remake has this too), as balls were rolling back down when hitting the left orbit shot.
Also installed new carbon balls, as old ones were getting magnetised and sticking in the coffin lock (all great now)
Finally, I also bought a brand new set of drop targets which I'd include.

Few pics below and here's a private you tube (to avoid copyright strikes) - couldn't play with 1 hand, so crap camera angle, but stick with it, as i do pull the camera back at some key moments (there's a nice last second cross super jackpot, hopefully camera picked it up:-)
Will do another video from a better angle with my gopro at the weekend and take more pics.

Edit: better video

Pics of the inside of the cab, underside of playfield and inside backbox.
As you can see in one of the pics, the backbox is secured using the vertical holes (like newer sterns are now as standard iirc) rather than the two holes on the back, as when the pin arrived i had trouble getting the right side (if facing the back of the game) screw hole, so stern may have drilled that hole a couple of mm off?
Still very secure with the back bolts in the verticle positions, but thought I'd mention it anyway, as i was confused when it arrived (for a while I had one bolt verticle one side and horizontal/back hole left side - i guess you could have two verticle and one in the back left side)

Here's a link to a private vid shot from a better angle. Not my best game and ended early, as my wife was kindly filming on my phone.

Looking for a straight sale, but would possibly entertain a trade for something special (would prioritise a trade with cash coming my way on top) and get a remaster further down the line (palate cleanser might be good, rather than going straight from one MET to a more expensive one!)

Won't keep bumping the thread; will let it expire if no interest - won't be selling outside of pinballinfo community.

Thanks again for looking and to those who've pm'd me 👍🏻
