Sold Metallica Premium: £8,400 OBO (OG - Super pimped) or TRADE involving a Stranger Things coming my way

That’s the point.. it’s up for £6999… but has it sold… price has been up & down more than a whores draws.. 😂
Nice one, thanks Dave....

I totally take it on the chin re; how many times I've changed the price - it got a bit mental there for a while and I'd have a laugh at that too (as is mentioned above; reduced the price when I was dead set on other games and wanted a quick sale... but things change)

For example, the other day a close friend on my wife passed away; died young and has left 3 children behind - put things in perspective for me a bit; why am I stressing and spending so much time p'ing about with my for sale/trade ad?... be grateful for what I have (I lusted after this very Met since like..2 owners ago); there's no rush.

I'm fortunate (right now..🤞🏻🤞🏻) to be in a position where I'm not going through a divorce/roof's not leaking/I have a full time job/have my health/have other interests outside of pinball which are more important to me, which thankfully means I'm not desperate to sell my game.

Whoever bought the one for £6,999, that's awesome; spend another £450/£500 and you have a Metallica which is not far off mine (if you aren't into the speaker/sub upgrades, hard to get uv powerblades and other visual mods - totally fine; all down to taste/personal pref).
Seller seems a good bloke too, so I'm happy for him.

Class act Den, even for highlighting that machine on your own selling thread when you could have easily ignored it and/or changed your price to suit. We need more of this

I'm no hero 🥲😀; the more people who have a Metallica in there homes (OG or remaster -and listen to their music), the better imho.
Pinball people are lucky that one of the best games ever are now more available; save a few grand and buy an OG (if you can find one), or treat yourself to the fantastic remaster 🤘🏻

If the MET on Facebook then yeah a good idea to sell on there.. EBAY, Facebook, Gumtree etc to get maximum publicity.

There will be people that don’t know details on pinball and just want one for their games room.

Putting it on here, where people know about remakes, up coming games, what other members have sold for etc..

Don’t get me wrong, we all want the maximum for the games we sell to be able to afford the new games coming out, or the hard to get games me included.

But when a game has a new and improved remake the original gets hit, unless collectors want original, but that’s who are on here and so are clued up on prices.

I have come to realise that selling on here you will a hit, a big one. Especially on Stern games where a remake, or Anniversary edition is now a thing.

Have to say I’m pretty amazed it didn’t sell for 7.5k. I thought it was a very good price for the game.
If I wasn’t paying for building work at the moment I would have snapped it up. GLWS.

Cheers John 👍🏻
I'm naturally open to offers given another prem sold (albeit with no colour dmd etc), but I don't think there's any interest at present on the forum, as even at £7.5k I had zero interest in a straight sale (not complaining; the market is what the market is and folks also have more important things to fork out for at present)

I have to say, my last two recent machine sales have not been made on here (despite advertising here first), which is disappointing, but maybe a sign of the times in the hobby on here.
