That’s the point.. it’s up for £6999… but has it sold… price has been up & down more than a whores draws..

Nice one, thanks Dave....That’s the point.. it’s up for £6999… but has it sold… price has been up & down more than a whores draws..![]()
Class act Den, even for highlighting that machine on your own selling thread when you could have easily ignored it and/or changed your price to suit. We need more of thisNice one, thanks Dave....
I totally take it on the chin re; how many times I've changed the price - it got a bit mental there for a while and I'd have a laugh at that too (as is mentioned above; reduced the price when I was dead set on other games and wanted a quick sale... but things change)
For example, the other day a close friend on my wife passed away; died young and has left 3 children behind - put things in perspective for me a bit; why am I stressing and spending so much time p'ing about with my for sale/trade ad?... be grateful for what I have (I lusted after this very Met since like..2 owners ago); there's no rush.
I'm fortunate (right now..) to be in a position where I'm not going through a divorce/roof's not leaking/I have a full time job/have my health/have other interests outside of pinball which are more important to me, which thankfully means I'm not desperate to sell my game.
Whoever bought the one for £6,999, that's awesome; spend another £450/£500 and you have a Metallica which is not far off mine (if you aren't into the speaker/sub upgrades, hard to get uv powerblades and other visual mods - totally fine; all down to taste/personal pref).
Seller seems a good bloke too, so I'm happy for him.

Cheers JohnHave to say I’m pretty amazed it didn’t sell for 7.5k. I thought it was a very good price for the game.
If I wasn’t paying for building work at the moment I would have snapped it up. GLWS.
