So it's occurred to me there's no keys for the locks on TS. So far I suspect there's 3 courses of action (In order of preference):
1) Buy a spare key if that exists
2) Pick the lock(s) and just dont shut the door or lock the backbox
3) Drill out the lock(s) and replace

Can anyone speak to which is best course of action / plausible?

As long as it’s not a tubular bike style lock they’re a piece of **** to pick (with a proper rake and tensioner) but really just drill them and replace. Only about £4 each. You should be able to remove the backbox lock with security bit tools

drill them out and replace. As said above you should be able to remove backbox lock with a security hex bit

Before you drill anything, try this >
And yes, it does work.
I've nanaged to pick my shed lock, a Yale rim cylinder lock, with a snapped-in-half heavy duty paperclip - one half used as a rake, and the other half bent to act as a tensioner. Took about 10 mins following youtube vids.

I imagine these pin ones are exactly as easy as your vid suggests to get into.

Take care with the plate for the backbox lock - the first game work had with it (Whirlwind) ended up retaining the factory-fitted lock because one of the screws wouldn't unwind. The T-nut or 'stag washer' concealed in the woodwork was also turning. That would have been awkward to correct, on a new game that was needed to be earning.

Holy **** dude.

If this is your first dilemma on this game I look forward to seeing the finished restore in 2097 :)
GREAT NEWS! Schedule has moved ahead to completion by 2030 as TS arrived today and it had no lock in the door 🤣
