King Kong by Stern

From loserkids podcast it seems like they split up the artists between stuff.
Greg Freres - cab art
Kevin O'Connor - playfield art - he also did the original artwork for the Data East King Kong
Zombie Yeti - tying it together

I really like the leftside of the playfield with the jungle like features and color scheme and the details are insane when you look up close - all together looks a bit busy though. Still want to play this as it looks fun

Yeah, I think the jungle theme should have been the way to go and then blend that into New York. The neons just don’t work.

Like the look of the game and the shots but this looks one where you have to go premium. If there's one model you don't want static it's King Kong. The moving one is impressive.

I agree, from what I can see, the gong is missing and perhaps the train too? I'm just wating the featurette now.

Train lock/ divertor
Moving Kong
Bouncy Spider
Gong

Plus the standard prem upgrades metal arch and side armour over rails.

I do agree about Prem stuff losing its wow factor over time Fran. There are a few exceptions I guess but this will shoot well whatever flavour of machine someone goes for.

Like the theme, its always instant fomo, I sat watching it and was I might have a pro of that in 2027, as I have others I want to get first.

I wasnt surprised to see the train disappear but hoped the spider would remain, hopefully someone does replacement mods otherwise it might be a bit empty.

Nah, the Custard Factory is a real thing. It is, or was, the site of the Birds Custard Factory. Now it is like a kind of creative quarter and is full of creative businesses, bars etc. About 10 mins walk from Tilt in the centre.

Watched the gameplay stream and still torn on it
On one hand it looks to shoot and flow great then at times found myself a little bored
And drifting in/out of watching it
Like the chasm/saving sailors looping shots with flipper and the deadeye mode
Definitely need to play this in person

Only 20 minutes in but they haven't talked very much at all yet. I think not explaining the rules or what's going on makes it less engaging. Hopefully get a bit more commentary in the rest of the stream.
