I have decided to sell a couple of older games to buy something newer, if that makes sense. So the first one is this rather nice looking JD, bought from someone else on the forum in sept. 2020.
Here is the description from the previous owner:
I have a really nice JD, I redecalled it at the beginning of lock down, colour lcd dmd (great in this game) art blades, leds (except ramp flashers as they were too blinding!) topper. Brand new side rails, all bolts, coin door resprayed black, game looks and plays well, have put in new flipper opto boards both sides as the flippers felt tired but now are lovely, flipper bat toppers of the 4 judges, all in all a very tidy example. The only bad thing is it's value, £2.4 k. But, as you know, JD is a helluva lot of pin for the money.
To this description I would add that the topper was cracked and had been repaired (this was explained to me by the previous owner before I bought it). There are pictures showing the topper on its own to show the repair. This is mostly because it doesn't fit in my games room!
I will also add that I recently had to reset a ball trough switch as i was getting an error on startup. As it doesn't seem to interfere with play, I haven't looked into it. When uploading the photos I also realised that the bottom of the right ramp isn't attached properly. I will look to re attach it properly.
I am looking to sell it for what I bought it, which I think is reasonable for a nice looking JD with a color DMD. So that's 2.4k firm.
Photos attached. More on demand.
