I've got to stop watching videos of this game, I'm can't stop fawning over it.

It's incredibly tempting although the pin fund currently stands at £470, a £50 M&S voucher and 1.5 tins of Quality Street.

Not before time I must say, I was on the cusp of producing something myself so I'm glad this fella has gone for it.

I'm particularly looking forward to his roleplay reviews entitled 'The Twilight Bone', 'Jur-@rse-lick Park' and 'The W@nking Dead'.

Another great stream last night.
Lost a 20 Million song jackpot, with his " never cash out" approach.
He said his highest song jackpot is 99 Million.
What a player he is. Great to watch and learn his thoughts and strategies.
 
Puts it In line with a Sterns pricing I guess.
I reckon their 5000 LEs are flying out due to all the positive feedback they getting so they taking advantage of the fact.
Let’s face it they put a hell of a lot more in both quality, mechs and features.
Any potential buyers still have an option of walking away and grabbing that other fully loaded music pin from Stern Led Zep

To put the price up mid run? Can’t justify it, I think it’s a bold move. I think they’ve done it to slow the orders down as the staff and line are working overtime, caught unaware with the number of orders.

Not sure what kind of business people are in here, but this could be something to do with the price of raw materials going through the roof currently.
Steel etc has seen an increase of anywhere from 30-70 % locally with lead times also going off the charts.
I’m not sure if the US is seeing the same sort of thing happening.

We'll see what JJP's reasoning is but more like they have a hot product they want to make the most money from.

JJP already more expensive than Stern LE, now significantly more. If this was the price when I ordered it I wouldn't have ordered it. They have said they are sold out on the standard game so the base game price for GNR is now $10500

quality? I honestly don't understand how anyone thinks this. Read the DI, Pirates and GNR threads on pinside and tell me that its any different to the AvengersIQ, Elvira and Turtles threads in terms of issues and fixes.

with the price increase I think its more to do with the fact that sales in Europe have fallen of a cliff and the price of inbound components to the US is up, PC gear in particular is up. JJP must be bleeding cash right now.

Wait they've jacked up the standard edition as well by a grand? Do I get the posh lights now as well? JJP I've heard your pitch, it's not an investment for me I'm out etc. That's a bloody shame, I was seriously considering that as my next NIB.
 
I hope that @philpalmer locked in the price for the games coming in.. guess we will be waiting to hear the answer..

It’s a kick in the nuts.. long waiting times and then suddenly upping the price.. do all the people that have pre-ordered at $9500 still get that price in the US!?

Led Zeppelin LE is considerably more expensive than GnRLE £500 in fact!
And please don’t compare the CE to a stern LE Neil as they are leagues apart inc many extras like topper, signatures extra lighting ect ect.
Sterns CE is around 16k and gives you a piece of couch or a light that puts a bat shadow on the ceiling. Not really like for like.
I will agree to disagree with quality issues as your opinionated Stern Army views are a pointless fight for me to try and win so I won’t even go there.
BTW I’m not part of the JJP army as they don’t have one I just know what I like and 2 of the most reliable pins I’ve owned have been JJP and my hobbit has never missed a beat.
Just sayin.
 
Unlike our mates at Stern who cancelled Elvira orders and you had to re order at $500 more, JJP honoured the price it was ordered at up to the new price imposed last night. I've put the LE price up by £500 inc vat, not $1000, as the more favourable dollar rate allows such. The standard price is up by £1k as there is no money in that and i've only 1 or 2 available anyway.
