Keep thinking I should have gone for one. Having said that tempted with the Walking Dead one as well.

I'm no pinball expert, this only being my second table.....but this machine is a blast and it's super fast! I got up to 34M last night, the immense flashing and balls flying everywhere I didn't know what the hell was going on but after it was all over, I sat there shaking my head thinking.... ' wow....that was absolutely mental ' ....... just one more go!!

I'm also loving mine - it's a real rush and I love that it's a real struggle to keep the ball alive. The nice thing about it from a purchase point of view is that its a NIB at current pro pricing, and there isn't that feeling that I'm missing out on something; there isn't a better, more expensive version out there. I'm not sure what it says about me, but if I'm honest I don't think I'd be happy with a pro when there is a premium or LE available. Walking Dead is a great example - I watched the first couple of episodes but I'm not a fan of the show, but the pin looks fantastic. However, I don't regret the IM purchase at all, as I wouldn't be happy with the pro with a better version available, and I can't even begin to justify a £7k LE. It's nice getting the 'full' version of a game for a (somewhat) reasonable price.
I agree, wouldn't want a pro of any machine knowing there is a better version out there.
Was IM the last machine not to get an LE version? More proof that they should ditch the LE and have one awesome machine that everybody wants.
Think BBH was the last machine with no LE, but IM was just released just before that. I agree though - one fully featured machine with a price point somewhere in the middle would be ideal. Failing that though, I don't understand the logic behind no premium for The Walking Dead - depending on the software I'd be tempted to move Tron LE if one was announced. I'm sure that they may release one depending on demand, but not announcing one up front seems like a ****ty move to try and shift more LEs. I'm a fan of Stern's games, but as a consumer I resent their current business model.
I feel the same about the pro/LE thing. I could maybe just about let myself buy a machine at pro prices ( which is still crazy, just ask anyone who isn't into pinball and they'll think we're all stark raving ) but knowing there is a much better machine available is enough to stop me. I'm definitely not at the stage of letting myself spend 6k on a machine, even if I could afford it. Now The Walking Dead is about as close as a theme can get to getting me to buy a NIB but luckily a friend is getting one so I'll get to play that.
