Irish Pinball League ???

Ok all,

The next round of the Irish Pinball league will be taking part in Ballymore Eustace, County Kildare, Southern Ireland on 1st March 2015

Machines and exact times etc will be announced in due course.

I will be in contact with the Northern guys in the next week or so to organise travel arrangements (no point in everybody driving down individually)

Ok the next leg of the Irish pinball league is being held in Kildare

Machines confirmed for league use
-Tales from the crypt
-Getaway 2
-Jurassic park lost world
-Whitewater
-Golden eye

There might be a few more for play and hopefully some arcade machines

Practise is from 1pm until 3pm when the league starts until around 6pm or when all finished.

Round 2 done and dusted!
moving 5 pins and a vid is pain in the hole!
Pins held up well over the day,no major problems even after 6 hours of play.
22 entries.Big thanks to the Belfast crew for making the effort and to Ben for helping with the pack down!
Looking forward to seeing the scores :)

Great day and some awesome games. White Water is such a nice game and hard as nails! Cant wait to get my own one!

Those stupid sega backbox locks aswell that you have to open with an alan key....lethal! Haha

Looks like a great set up! @BigIan if you are on Facebook I can set you up as an admin user on the UK Pinball League Facebook page if you like? Then you can post about the meets. If not i'll just do it for you - let me know if there's anything specific you want me to post at any point!

-Star wars (DE)
-Ski Jump (EM)
Possibly Star Trek:the next generation if I get a chance to look at it

Im slacking no longer lads. Plouging through it now! Ill have it good to go by August

Cant make it to the meet anyway lads. Its my birthday on the 2nd and im having a bqq
 
Bummer you can't make it Ben. It's the only weekend left that we could fit it in this years league.

We must start looking into next seasons meets soon and get some dates lined up.

Only 11 players today, not bad for the holiday season, I guess. Early indications are that I in fact won even though the spreadsheet was saying Keith did.

Big thanks to everyone that made it today and also thanks for making the first year of the pinball league a great success. We will build on this season and make next season an even better success. Met some great people and made some good friends this year.

I will be in contact with the hosts for next season soon and we will get a rough schedule drawn up. If anyone other than Dave, Ben or myself is interested in hosting get in touch also so we can include you in the planning (machines can be supplied to meets if host only has a few etc)

Dave no one is more surprised than me. If Krzysztof has stayed in Ireland I'd say he would have walked it. It was pretty lose between about 5 or 6 players as it was.
I had a few lucky games, I guess I can only go down now

It's not about winning anyhow it's getting together and having a laugh and playing some pinball.

Looking forward to next season and getting more meets organized.
We will talk local trophies also, probably email you and Ben later in the week Dave once I get my breath back, completely knackered today.
