Indiana Jones: The Pinball Adventure

Completely agree with Geoff @Calimori on this. WMS IJ is my biggest disappointment in pinball as it was the first pin I ever played back in the day in a holiday arcade and was my grail game when I got into the hobby. Picked up a really nice one reasonably early on in my collecting and was absolutely made up, never going to sell it etc

It lasted 6 months and then I was bored with it, I was absolutely gutted :( I did have a much smaller collection at the time which didn't help but where as I'd definitely have a WCS or Whirlwind again, I've got no desire for another IJ. Dream theme, grail game and all that but in the end it just didn't hold up to being played at home for me and finding that out made me quite sad!. Give me a Space Station or a Robo-War over IJ any day of the week
6 Months represents a "Keeper" for some Pinheads 😂

It is also a pin that was still commanding a high price for the era. Not as high as AFM or MM but not far off. Which should adds to folks deciding to move it on and try something else as there is a lot tied up in it.
Interesting that folks are saying they haven't got to play them much as I never thought it was limited but they did start getting gold plated treatment so maybe that stops them going to shows and they hide in private collections. Mine is just too heavy and my access to difficult, to want to think about getting it out but I plan to build a sack truck attachment to a Muck truck that may help with this in the future.

Been looking for one for quite some time. Not easy for me to find one - without an extra mortgage on the house... still looking though.

Wow that's ugly, it doesn't look like it fits in at all.
Just shows how different tastes are in the hobby

Agree with the longevity comments on this game - IJ would be the next Williams game I'd buy if I was to work down the titles - its the sort of game that if CGC remade it and Lyman modernised the code it could be fantastic.

I've always wanted one of these as I'm an aviation freak and it's got 2 airplanes in it!! But they're pretty much unobtanium at this point :(
