Not much pinball time tonight as I was working late

Sounds like you are missing playing your Shadow.

You know it mate, I am loving STTNG at the moment but it will be good to have both of them up and running....there's just something about Shadow

Can I bring a whole load of things to you to rivet?

Dan, number three position. Would hide the wires too.

If you can get yourself up to one of the Northern meets then I would be happy to help you out on the riveting (within reason)

I was worried about that too. But my new ones have the signs already on. I was not expecting that so it's a huge bonus!

Bust my new sign with an airball, sob sob, may have to work on something to stop it happening again

Fintan, I don't surpose you have a Boulder Garden sign that you would be willing to sell ?

You would be helping me out loads if you have.

D

Seen replacement signs for sale if you are totally stuck

Woke up pretty much the same as normal this morning.

Spotted a table on gumtree and Im heading to bed happy now after a 250 Mile trip to grab it.

Bonus that it seems to be in pretty decent order (other than needing a load of rubbers, a flipper and a good clean) its had a good protective layer of dirt on it for years.

But hey it lights up so there is hope...

Ill get the legs on over the weekend and give it a good clean and see whats what then.

Pleased to hear that there are still some Gumtree pinball bargains out there. No sensible people ever respond when I see a table I like.

CFTBL is becoming a table of the 'must have' table. Good work.

Woah good score! You get it for a decent price?

Yeah £570

Saw your picture of your creech last week and it brought my disappointment from last year back.

Almost got it last July when he went to sell it, but he decided to keep it after he got a phone call from England saying he was selling it to cheap (£300) and they would buy it for £1000. He decided if it was worth that much he would hold on to it... I had offered £600 if I remember correctly, I told him £300 was cheap.

I was just about to go home after work last night and just did a quick gumtree search and he had listed it 5 minutes earlier. Grabbed a pool car (Astra estate) and headed off.

Oh whats the web site for cars and pins ? A bally/williams with the head on doesnt fit in an astra estate.

****, thats a crazy price. They are selling for £1600+ these days. Congrats. Whats the hologram like?

I turned an average one down last year for £800, nice ones were only making £1200 so it was not a good move IMO

It's all good in hindsight.

I probably paid above average price for my CFTBL but It's worth it. Still, even if that creech is knackered £570 is a bargain!

A NOS hologram went for $900 on ebay in the states last year

In the current climate of all things pinball thats a cracking price you got your Creech for.

Well done

.

Creech to me is worth far more than most people place it. But I am a little swayed as its my fav game.

Creech rocks.

Enjoy it by the way, but most important give it time. It will all come together and once it clicks you then realise what a awesome game it really is.

Seems pretty good.

A few problems like the right hand flipper pawl has broken and a few bulbs out. When I switched it on there was no sound but after a brief investigation i found the source of the problem

[attachment=1367:IMG_1886.jpg]

Put a jointing block in temporarily and tada we have sound.

There have been some quality rubber replacements over the years also.

[attachment=1365:IMG_1882.JPG]

And the a nice flipper rubber repair. Totally snapped but at least they saw the need for the rubber.

[attachment=1366:IMG_1883.jpg]

Looks like it hasn't had a clean in its 19 years, but I gave it a quick wipe over and it came up surprisingly well (ill stick a few pics up later)

As long as the pf cleans up nice then everything else can be sorted
smile-1.png
Laggy bands on the slingshots...thats a good one.

And if it don't, I've got a spare playfield in my loft going very cheap!

Looks like it will come up great.

I gave it a quick wipe with foam clenser on a cloth.

Same flipper area as shown above

Above the hologram window

Will give it a better go with the foam and then some novus over the next few days.

I've never played a Pinball Magic before. It looks like a fun game.

It's all I've been playing everyday for the last week, was def worth all the hassle tracking one down (I think so)

The stage with levitating ball very fun to watch even after 100 times or so
smile-1.png
, Hand with it's wand is a good toy, some very cool dmd, multiballs etc... but I like the way they only used one pop bumper , the lighting is very cool all the gi dims then brightens as you work your way through the rounds & tricks, so not an easy machine to led

Still to reach round 3 yet

+1 for #3 ......He looks rubbish sitting down ! Think about it ....when would the Creech ever sit down ?!?... he wouldn't , cos he's too busy swimming around lakes looking for the ladies, or hiding behind signs and then jumping out and spooking people.

here he is hiding behind a sign as suggested
