Just for fun. Imagine you have a budget of around 6.5k ish. You've played Jurassic Park to death and think it's the greatest pin of all time. Other games I've really liked that I've owned - Iron Maiden, Spiderman, Sopranos. Games that I think are a bit bleurgh -. Ghostbusters, Tron. probably more

On my possibles list are; Stranger Things, Ninja Turtles, GOTG, Avengers Infinity Quest, Deadpool.... Wonka... Maybe some more.

What would you go for and why? I don't want any of this play them first nonsense. Just give an opinion and why! Cheers guys X

I would go for Stranger Things. I was soooooooooooo under whelmed when I saw it and I’m a huge fan of the series.
But..... after I played it, I really wanted one. The uv kit is awesome and the music is great too. Very nice flow as you would expect from a fan layout. I haven’t played deadpool or AIQ so they might be contenders too.
Wonka was the smoothest game I’ve ever played, I loved the shots but the music wore me down.

But I do get as much enjoyment from my £1300 Pinbot so take that with a pinch of salt.

Of those listed. GOTG or DP.

GOTG is a great under rated game that has come into its own over time. Got a lot more respect of late in my opinion. Deadpool is great too. Both suffer in a smaller collection due to simplicity - but what game doesn’t I suppose. You know how quickly I move on games. I’d say the only ones that don’t is TWD, IMDN and BM66. Maybe ask about if there’s a BM66 and add a few quid to it. Not sure how much it would take. I know @ianw had one for sale.

I own TMNT, DP and GOTG. Love all 3 had GOTG the longest at around 2yr.
I don’t think you can go wrong with any of these TBH and are all good pins in Pro flavour albeit 2 of mine are LEs

Although ST doesn’t interest me at all I love the look of AIQ but think it would have to be on premium flavour as it looses too much IMO.

Yeah I've played a fair bit of Guardians. Good game, solid theme and amazing tunes. I'm not sure why and this might be controversial, I've gone right off Batman 66! I dunno what it is, the theme and theme integration is gold but bit of a clunk monster maybe? Might just be me.

It'll have to be Pro if I grab AIQ. I guess maybe I should hold off a little in case Stern have something amazing up their sleeve for their next game.

Wonka looks so good but man that music combined with the old fella doing the call outs isn't pretty!

Played a lot of the majority of the pins on your list. Have a JP and if I was buying I would go for AIQ, ST, GOTG, DP in that order. Only had a few games of Wonka so can’t comment but the rest played loads. AIQ shoots a dream and the code is amazing 👍🏻

Either DP or Stranger Things would be my choice. I'm renting DP at the moment and it's a real blast to play. I think with Stranger Things I would opt for the Prem/LE spec.

In a 1 game collection it has to be AIQ for the depth. I had the thing for two months and didn't have a scooby what was going on but the shots were fun.

Deadpool is my second favourite game as you know but probably not deep enough for you (plus you can borrow mine or pop over here when the Covid is done)

Cheers dude. And yeah I'm leaning towards AIQ at the moment. Game looks mental and will keep me busy for months geeking out over different approaches. Looks like a flow monster as well.

Really? Surprised to read this, as it seems to me like AIQ Pro doesn't compromise much. The subway looks slow, and that ramp frustrating to make. I could be wrong though - haven't played it. Genuinely curious to hear what you think it's lacking...

I own them all apart from wonka either le or pro all and they are all cracking games depends on what you want to spend and more of what’s available at the time as none of these titles have come up recently other than gotg
I favour stranger things but I do have the le
I have avengers pro and premium and I am not keen on jp so I didn’t think I would like this but I absolutely love it I do think the premium is better but you would definitely not be disappointed with the pro
I don’t have any problem with the ramp loop shot it has to be hit hard but if it’s not made it’s never sdtm the portal lock is cool it maybe a little slow but you don’t really notice it as you are normally selecting your mode when it’s doing it’s thing
I suspect you would have to go nib on this one as very little in the uk

I remember @Lickashot calling BM66 a clunk fest then he got one in his house. Care to comment?
This is exactly what I said about it, I thought it shot like 💩 Then I started getting my shots dialled in and believe me this is one of the best games I have played. The strategy, depth and sheer FUN factor make this a real winner. I love the theme, the clips and all the music on this pin really works well. I do understand this isn't a game for everyone as it is quite stop and start so if you're looking for flow you may want to go with something else but if you can find the extra cash I would get this game. Ask anyone who owns one about IMVE too, doesn't get talked about much but the flow and speed of this game blows a lot of others out of the water and you won't have to fork out £6.5k either.

Iron Man is okay. Not what I'd want with only room for one pin though. I did half fancy one a while back but think it'd be out the door pretty sharpish.

Think I'll get Avengers whenever Phil gets them back in stock. Unless something else comes up for sale in the mean time I fancy or Stern announce an epic looking Godzilla with King Ghidorah plastered all over it.

I have played all of those titles mentioned on your list and would put AIQ as the next must have. Here are my personal thoughts on the mentioned games.

Stranger Things - This is a great game, I have spent quite a bit of time on the pro version at Chief and really enjoy the modes and the AFM style game play. Would probably like to own it at some stage in the future.

Ninja Turtles - Not really a fan of TMNT in general and can’t get into the game, has some lightning fast game play mind you.

GOTG- I enjoy playing this game when I come across it, similar layout to Metallica which I played to death so wouldn’t consider it for home personally.

Avengers Infinity Quest- Played the pro version and absolutely love it, the shots are so satisfying and generally fast paced game. One of those games where you find yourself pushing start over and over again. Very high on my wish list and when I can afford it would be opting for the pro version for home.

Deadpool- I have owned and played the LE version for a bit, looks stunning, hilarious call outs, nice flow, but I found it a bit easy, newbies love this game as it is so easy to understand the rules.

Wonka - i have played this briefly and enjoyed it, the main thing that would put me off it maintaining it as I don’t really like fixing machines. I know my way around Sterns as I have owned a few of them now.

also special mention for IMDN which has been my go to machine for the past couple of years, still loving it. I have put a bit of time on JP2, it has nice flow and satisfying shots, but it just feels like a generic dinosaur game. I would really like to give it a try with the cleland movie music edition.

so final conclusion, go for the Avengers 👍🏼

Have owned IMdn and JP2, loved them both. Have now got an AiQ, and haven't turned JP2 on since.

Says it all really - Elwin is a genius when it comes to layout and rules

Thanks dude, super helpful. Definitely get the movie code for Jurassic Park. Game is awesome.

Have owned IMdn and JP2, loved them both. Have now got an AiQ, and haven't turned JP2 on since.

Agreed. His games are next level. Avengers would be my third Elwin NIB. Out of interest, what's your high score on AIQ?

Right I've narrowed it down to Deadpool and Avengers. Deadpool looks mad fun but a little simpler. AIQ looks deep and like a ridiculously good shooter. AIQ will have to be NIB which is no bother but I gotta wait for stock to arrive. With Deadpool, I'm guessing second hand is my only option at this point? Not sure they come up that often?
