Hi all, opinions/advice please.
So I've got a nice GZ that I'm having fun with, but as always with a single game limit I'm thinking about what I'd like next (Walking Dead Prem, Batman 66 are on my list) and I've been looking at FH 2.0 again and have some questions for those in the know.
I think getting the Pedreddi remake is probably out of my price range unless somone has a used one, so I'm focusing on an OG FH with 2.0 kit installed.
1: Oldest games I've owned have been Stern SAM games and so would be slightly nervous about getting something pre-SAM, with the 2.0 kit installed, I gather this negates any potential FH board/pcb issues (?), but would I have to worry about other stuff relating to that era of pins?
2: I love the idea of being able to switch between aying OG FH and 2.0 which I'm thinking would increase longevity in a 1 pin set-up, but what are people's thoughts on the 2.0 code?; is there a lot packed in there? (I only played 2.0 at a fomp in I think near Birmingham once and really liked it, but didn't get deep in to the game)
3. I can put a post up in the "how much is this worth) thread, but what's everyone's view on how much I should pay for nice refurbished FH (not talking gold plated side rails
with 2.0 code?
4. Does anyone know of a FH with 2.0 coming up for sale at any point? (I'm not in a rush to let my super modded GZ PRO go, but could maybe trade down the line or sell my GZ) - I'll will obvs put a wanted add up at some point if still looking

Im now back with an original FH. And a happy bunny. Didnt dig the 2.0 at all. The old players condition FH 2.0 from electric circus was sold on at £4500

That's disappointing to hear that you weren't keen on 2.0; if any other owners feel the same and want to get rid of theirs; please let me know.
Am I right in saying that you can select the OG code at the start of a game?
With the kit you had to choose at boot up so not good for a commercial location.
I played one recently, put a few games on it. Same feeling for me too, shame really.
Ah I see; that's understandable. I just realised actually, that yours was the one I played at EC when I came to visit for your birthday bash como!
Sadly it was the only time I got to visit the club :-( had a great time.
That's a a shame. Maybe I should think twice about seeking one our. I guess I'll see if one comes along and take it from there.
