Three balls, no extra balls. Or if you don’t want to change the setting on your machines you can just record the score after you have played three balls.

Thought I had done enough on AFM but just checked - not enough!
Second game on Congo tonight and I had a blinding first ball.
Second ball went straight down but third ball stayed up for ages.
4X grey, 2X multiball, 1X AMY, scored nowt on the map.

Only need one ball!
Had a couple of games on STTNG, and achieved nothing...except warp 9.9 which accounted for most of this score. It was a very quick game but a half decent score for me. Second game also managed warp 9.9 (usually rare for me), but score was slightly less.

so was streaming into my companies facebook again and had a great game of TWD. I unfortunately had to drain ball 2 to go back to work and then ball 3 was a fail.

Oh actually no you didn't. I don't know what anyone else thinks but it could make things more interesting if there were only 3 places per machine. So you can get knocked off the leaderboard. Bit more incentive.
Personally I prefer the 5, as it mimics the current trend of having a grand champ then 1-4 high scores on display.

Happy to keep it 5, change it to 4, or go back to 3 depending on what everyone wants. Just let me know if you freel strongly...
I think a 1 ball game should be disqualified
I'm no expert on pinball leaderboards. All I can tell you is that I was expecting to get knocked off the board with Neil's score and then I would have spent the evening trying to get back on it. But now I might watch Netflix
