Has anyone tried the clear film you can put on a dmd display to stop the glare on the glass? Just thinking of trying a few ideas before going down the route of invisi glass.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

There’s cheaper options,
I’ll let @Sgt GrizZ tell you all about it as it was his idea.

I’d forgotten about these . I think there’s a thread somewhere on here . Maybe even a picture.

In a nutshell it’s like one of these ….. but made from a piece of stiff art card . I made some years ago , worked a treat. I don’t have them anymore as I’m so cheap I needed the card for something else one day so that was that 😁

I had the polarised plastic (thicker than film) & it worked superb. Be aware that invisiglass doesn’t eliminate dmd glare completely whereas I found the polarised plastic & the plastic dmd glare guard both do 👍
….cant remember where I got the polarised plastic but I’ll have a quick Google now.

Dave at Retro Arcade Specialists supplies the film and the guard.

Can't find a link to the guard but I seen them in his hand on Sunday.

Thanks all for the replies.
That’s the film I’m talking about. I will give it a go and see how I get on. Not too keen on the metal glare shields as they don’t look right but I guess they do the job.

Thanks for the replies.
