Been working on something abit different a Lepin (lego clone) of the lego millennium falcon ultimate collectors edition. This beast is huge 8000+ pieces and about 3 feet long.

Just started work on my 3/4 sized Karloff Frankenstein's monster bust.

Primed, including mood lighting ha

First shot of base colour after basic pre shade

Dry fitting

Base with the colours laid down looking abit flat. There are actually loads of colours used on here including spattering.

After using oil paint washes and a gloss varnish to make it look slimey. The oils really make it pop

The kit producer didn't have the licence to use John hurts likeness so I've replace the head with an after maker one. White being the original

As with a lot of projects this will have a lot of lighting effects run from a tiny control board.

This ones mine but I could do another wouldn't be cheap tho the kit is around £60 then the lighting kit and my labour on top

Impressive work. Was wondering do these kits come with any form of colouring instruction or are you supposed to freestyle? (Not that I'm going to undertake one my airbrush+compressor is still NIB )

This one does because its made by a big company but about 95% of garage kits dont

So I took a break from my alien officer Kane project and started working through my warhammer stash.

First up is a kit bash I did using a classic metal blood angel tactical squad captain.
