Complete Creature from the faded lagoon

Playfield is about 90% done. All mechs are on, plastics, star posts and rubbers etc.

It just needs the ramps and some switches, with some hook up under neath.

As I need to take it off the rotissorie to install the back board and apron etc. I'll park it here and return to it when the cabinet is done.

Onto the cab!

What condition is the lagoon window on the old playfield is it good enough to sell on?

Took a risk and have gone hot pink on the inside. This stuff was a nightmare though and got bloody everywhere!

Just spent 5 hours cleaning 🧼🧹

Holy sh*t, that is a bold move. I don't think I'd have had the bottle to go that far.
Let's see how it looks when things start going back together.

So got most of the small bits back into the cab.

Finally got around to fixing the bodged fuse on the line in. It had about a 1 in 10 chance to trip the circuit breaker before because of the inrush current.

Now that should be 0 in 10.

Had to Dremel the hole out a bit as the new fuse holder was larger than the original.

Cleaned up the parts for the cab and reinstalled.

Moved onto the backbox. Cabinet just needs the decals.

Backbox was originally patched by the wife. That was fine when the cab wasn't restored. Now unfortunately it needs replacing.

The backbox had a lot of knocks in its life. Repaired all the edges

Nearly finished up Creech. I still need to do the coin door. Old decals were a sod to apply. The decals were creased so it was bubble city 😡😡😡

I managed to get them all out I think.... Anyway it's late and I have to go to London tomorrow morning....

Got a new pin yesterday so progress was cut short. But the playfield is back in.

I need to spend some time this evening today hooking back all the switches topside along with the ramps etc.

Probably another 4 more hours and she's done.

Creech is 90% there had an issue with a dead switch sending my Holomod LCD display haywire animation wise. Never had that before so it threw me a bit.

Just need to add the cabinet armor on and do a bit of dial in testing and she's done.

Thinking I should do my T.Z if I’m to it.
Same pin as you arrived Tuesday which I’m trying to dial in but draining a lot at the moment.

cheers Scott

If it's not too late, the RGB sequence on the PIN2DMD is not correct, it will still work but all the colours are wrong. You will know you've got it right when the chasing light borders in the attract screens are yellow.

The sequence shown on display boot should match the order shown in the logo at the top of PIN2DMD.com - also discussed here recently: https://www.pinballinfo.com/community/threads/pin2dmd-issue.54204/

Yeah thanks, Ant told me last night.

I had wondered why the colours looked goofy :D
