For Sale Cosmic gunfight (Project - more or less)

After an incident involving a falling nodding Homer and backless recently I've come to the conclusion that fate doesn't want me to have a Cosmic Gunfight.
I've been having issues with it of late and the black-glass incident was the last straw.
Originally got this a while back and bought it totally blind. When bought there was worn patch on the playfield and an issue with it resetting when the flippers were both flipped really quickly.
(This seems to have been resolved - which is handy since the mechanics of the game require you to press both flippers to cycle some lights)
It kinda grew on me so I hung onto it for some time. (Just love those Williams 80's sound effects).
There was also a worn patch on the playfield - which I've also attempted to repair (with reasonable success imho)
I also refurbished it somewhat - not to the same level of some of the tables folks have done on here but I thought it turned out rather well, including
getting some pimp stencils and repaining the cabinet. (This was my first attempt at doing this and whilst it its not 100% perfect (I managed to get a couple of runs in the paint) its pretty good IMHO)

So I'm looking to sell it but since its being such a "worky ticket" I'm selling it as an ongoing project. Looking for around £1275. (Open to offers - swaps etc.)

The biggest issue it now has is a result of the falling Homer. Said homer fell of the backbox, landed on the back-glass which was strategically placed on the pin sitting next to it and cracked it right across the centre.
This is especially annoying as this was a new mirror back-glass bought around 18 months back and looks great (or did - not so much with the crack )
I've affected a temporary repair by first using glass superglue along the edge of the crack and then attaching a sheet of clear Perspex on the back.
I tried installing it back in the machine and it goes in. Seems to stay in place but I've not really tried playing it since trying this.
Maybe it will be fine.. maybe not. But it's at least in one piece now ! (Have now removed it again and will store it in the packaging it arrived in for transportation)

As mentioned earlier this did have a worn patch on the playfield which I've made an attempt to repair - I think it turned out well enough.
Whilst doing this I also repainted all the white areas under the plastics to brighten it up and then had a few layers of lacquer on it to make it shiny and try to protect it.
If you scrutinise closely you can see the repair but its not really visible when playing.
This was running a Rottendog MPU when I got it - but I've reinstalled the original Williams MPU/Driver boards - which I first had Nevin service/repair.
However as mentioned earlier its been working its ticket since I had that done. First whole rows of switches were triggering where only one should have been. Replaced the PIA the 4 driver ICs (7406/4049) seemed to resolve this.
Whilst testing if this had resolved the issue the top left eject solenoid has stopped firing. Whilst this might just be the driver transistor I've had enough. Maybe these are all teething troubles with the Williams boards being unused for some time ?

So in summary:
Positives:
Playfield cleaned, whites repainted, worn patch repaired. Several coats of lacquer applied.
LEDS installed throughout.
Cleaned and polished all metalwork (Playfield parts, lockdown bar, lockdown receiver, coin door etc)
Installed new ground braid.
Repainted cabinet
Repainted coin door.
Comes with the Rottendog MPU. (This is missing at least 1 IC - could probably do with serviced too I think)

Negatives:
Back-glass could do with a new back-glass.
Still a few minor spots of wear on playfield though these are not really noticeable during use.
Electronics are being troublesome.
Playfield glass not in mint condition and has a couple of scratches - but its probably the original so...
