Too much sensitivity going on here, Dan.

30 vs 16 was what the poll stood at on that post and no it's not a contest. Just pointing that out to Mr.Wilcox who seems to be bitter about this more than anyone. He has shows in Wales anyway? He can pop along to Merther whenever he feels like it, right?

Why not let the people that run the shows decide where they are hosted? My impression is that the poll was asking for opinions, not a concrete decision.

There is nothing to stop you from organising a mega event in central England. If that's what you want, go for it.

Also, there are far too many Daves in this hobby.

Pointless comment (argument instigating). They already do. I didn't make the poll and they had one at the "party" anyway.

No there isn't. But WHY would I need the hassle of that s***? Fair enough, there's money to be made if you do it right, but Andy did a good job at Daventry , already stated that a few times.

Lol. Haven't you got some painting to do in front of Coronation street? You really have no idea, honestly you're clueless. Maybe I should start using smiley faces.

Dave Bradford?

If moderators had done their job properly this thread would be on topic. It's been allowed to become a large blister about to pop. Dave I don't think you should waste you time on this one. I have a sense of humour but I agree with you sometimes comments can be taken the wrong way.

Was there humour ?

I think I missed it ,
still it is providing a nice popcorn moment or two :popcorn:

Andy, you're obviously not in the clique then? You could liken this place to working mens clubs up & down the country, where you'd hear a pin drop if a new face came into the bar and that's basically the same for some pinball shows.

Stop making them such closed events to non pinheads, make some money and Andy never threats to not put it on again, everybody is happy. Seems to take a lot to get that point across.

Mr.Wilcox started the avalanche for unknown reasons other than he is from Wales? Don't know why anyone would be so defensive over keeping it Wales.

Dave, I've not been round here long, nor would I count myself as part of any 'clique', but I can say that I find everyone here resoundingly friendly and helpful. You may not have intended it, but your comments did read a little 'barbed' and in a bit 'I told you so'.
