I appreciate the work that is involved, and the hours taken to make these things look beautiful. And the costs. However some of us dont pay the same for plasterers and electricians - Some of us learn and do it ourselves. Which is ok if you have the time - if you dont and have the money, professional restorers fall into that bracket - Some just charge more than others for the same results.

I completely appreciate what you are saying Dave, and as I have continued to say, Mannys work is exceptional. However there ARE others in the business that come up with similar results at a fraction of the cost.
 
Agree with you completely Paul! There are others and it is an open market.

For frick sake, the joke art auction was put up for a joke.
No more no less, what's this world come to if you can't smile at something
Most people could see the funny side and showed how it brought a smile to most people.
I am not going back over things that have been put to bed nor dragging up any dirt.
When I saw the auction for the overspray pinbal' legs it brought back a memory or the red legs Manny used to sell on the bay.
Now tell me if I am wrong but that's all it is, overspray from painting pinball legs red. Not some artwork what was done in a dark part or someone's life.
All I did was to have some fun and bring a smile to most people's life's.
Forgive me if I did something wrong.
Oh and by the way. The overspray red pinball leg artwork is upside down. Well it is to me.

My tuppence worth,if he gets depression I feel for him,tho how that is relevant when trying to sell summat is beyond me.Admittedly maybe I don't "get"modern art - bed artwork just sold for,which was,to me an absolutely ludicrous sum.I prefer art by M C Escher,or just what to me is "cool" art like this below.

Freedom to express myself
Freedom to exercise my creative side, my perfectionist side, my humanitarian side"

Just as people have the self same above rights to comment on something

I for one would not say I produce top end(whatever),I would rely on my reputation to be spread by others
each unto his own,at the end of the day

If it is art, why is it listed in the pinball machines category ? Arent there other categories for this ?

Zombies? Not much. Well, sort of, until everyone and his dog decided that zombies should be a daily part of life. Zombie shows on TV mostly killed it for me.

Zombie art? that stuff is just timeless.....Lol.
 
Nah. Its the same crap over and over. I watch it when I need to prepare for the weekly arrival of leaflet droppers and canvassing do gooders.
 
I think it's a great series. Watched it from the start and looking forward to the next series starting.
 
I just wish they would leave the stronghold full of idealistic nutters idea behind and go totally nuts with 'thinking' zombies on motorbikes perhaps? Feels a little stale to me although I do watch bat-**** crazy manga films on a weekly basis:
 
zombies always amused me with their antics, i loved the way Shaun of the dead used the fact they are so slow and useless. then again, the running zombies in 28 days and 28 weeks later were pretty fun too, and the flat-out sprinting ones in World War Z.

actually i consider myself somewhat of a zombie film afficionado, if not quite a connoisseur. the best ones are the Romero classics (night of, dawn of, day of, land of, diary of the dead) but there have been plenty of good ones.

looking forward to playing on a zombie pinball one day, hopefully with suitably creepy dripping flesh and rotting stench.
