I'm retiring (sort of) and so am getting rid of my big van. I was considering getting a smaller one but I don't need to carry tools anymore but I'd obviously still like to pick up pinball machines.

I'm sure there was a list somewhere of cars that fit machines in as I will also consider that option, can anybody point me in the right direction :p

If you search for Honda Jazz that's how you find the secret list. There is no other way.

Do you know what that was the first car that came into my mind that somebody said you could fit one in! My mum's got one so I might try it just for the crack although I don't think it fits Gaz's criteria 🤣

It's surprising the amount of big SUV's that won't take a pinball machine due to the high boot level. I love my Skoda Kodiaq, it's taken a 7ft tall arcade machine no problem, but not much chance of getting a pinball machine in there unless you put it in sideways.

Honda Jazz does all modern pins except Gottliebs !
Is that all ages of the Jazz John? I've actually been looking at classic cars as well like 80s Granada estates because I can fix them with my eyes shut and they are also tax and MIT exempts . I'm not someone that needs something new and shiny, at the end of the day the wife has a reasonably modern SUV type car so anything will do me!

I have had in the family a number of Jazzes from 2002 up to 2010 so can`t vouch for newer than that but i would imagine most would do the job. No need to buy anything much newer if you get a good example as these cars are so reliable. What does for them in the end is rust.........but then again it`s a bit wetter up here in East Kilbride than down your way !

@Poibug just got a new Jazz. I hear it might be slightly larger than previous models

I can vouch for a Mazda CX5. Fits anything no fuss. Mine is a 2017, not sure if it's changed much since then.

If you're looking at old estates than how about a turbo brick? A Volvo 850 T-5R would hold any pin I'm sure

Transit connect LWB the older version and RAV4 2014 non hybrid here, can’t fault them. Plenty of room in both.
Whatever you choose watch out for rust underneath and check the old mot’s as well.

A T5 would be good although finding one that hasn't been ragged everywhere might be difficult! When I mean older though I'm talking about points and a carburettor 🤣
My bro-in-law has a garage and he was telling me that another garage in the area was trying to plug in an obd scanner into a 70’s Land Rover😂

Gapping points was a regular thing wasn’t it😏

Ford Kuga works if you want a "normal" car... (Well... Kinda small SUV)...

No disassembly needed (This case was a Spike2 Stern), however oodles of room, so would easily fit a widebody.

Yep, most weeks you had to clean and gap your points, still have them in my British Seagull outboards but that's it these days 😄

We went to look at a Jazz because my wife wanted a small car and we thought why not one that can fit pins too - but after measuring it up it looked like the drivers seat would have to be uncomfortably far forward to fit a pin in the back. Did we get this wrong?

Fitted a couple in the past in my old Jazz, Was surprised the other day fitting a pin in a civic 4 door hatchback with lots of space left!
