Can't start new conversation

2 issues I noticed just this morning.

Using Tapatalk found I couldn't start a new conversation, could reply to existing.

Now viewing forum on my desktop, if I click on 'Start Conversation' with another member (in an existing thread) I just get an Error, not allowed etc message ???

I only ever use my iPhone and that works ok. Just tried it.

I just successfully started a new conversation with @GrizZ.

Ah ha. I can't respond to PMs using tapatalk. Paul says it is just me .

all admins use the same "preferences". Same as all site supporters use the same. As all members use the same. Therefore if i can, then you guys should be able to too (desktop - havent tried tapatalk yet - tho i did with @Calimori and it worked ok....)

No, I can't start a new one from Tapatalk, I get an error. The responding issue is different as there are not buttons or options to reply.

Ok - will re-install tapatalk and see if that works.... Will check specific user gubbins too.... Back to you in a bit

Desktop works fine. So I believe the issue is with tapatalk.
