Damn, you're ramping up fast, any chance you're looking for a venue that could be open later than 6pm?
We were originally going to takeover the lease for the old Cloak & Dagger bar on Gloucester Road and turn it into a barcade, which would have had a dedicated pinball section. Sadly the lease holder wouldn’t give up the lease without a significant payment to payoff her debts, so negotiations broke down after that. I’ve looked at a few places in Bedminster that look promising, but central or Gloucester Road is where we really want to be.

Nice I'm really hoping you find somewhere because I'd love to see a pinball community take off here

Loads of empty property on Clifton Triangle at the minute; prime student land!
 
Unfortunately Ghostbusters isn't currently playable for those in the Bristol area. The coin door buttons have stopped working due to a fault on the board (anyone else ever encountered this on a Spike game? There isn't actually anything wrong with the physical buttons) so I can't set it up for coined play currently. I'll report back when it's ready to roll
 
In terms of machine numbers I think this means you are now currently the 6th largest public pinball venue in the country (behind only Pinball Office, Special When Lit, Tilt, Arcade Club and Medway).

Going to see if I can swing coming down for a couple of hours on Saturday…
Myself and Craig we have about 50+ games between us, so it’s not outside the realms of possibility that we could have 30+ games working by this year.

Myself, Craig and his dad Kev spent yesterday trying to get as many games working as we could.

I’ll create a list of all the games we currently have out with a update on their status later today 👍

Fixed the opto issue with AC/DC kicking out two balls. It’s now fully working and set to £1 per play.

Getaway is also fully working and ready to play.

Spider-Man just needs a coin mech then it’s ready 👍

Was in Brewdog last night and had a few games on the Venom there. All seems to be working fine and playing really fast, £1 for 1 or £2 for 3. I was in the place for about 2 hours and I was the only person who played it that whole time, despite it being reasonably busy.
 
Just played a couple of games of GZ at Kongs. Scores must have been reset recently, managed to get HS#1 and #2 with 193m and 185m so go and put some proper scores on there!

The 4.4 billion GC of “BUZ” remains 😳

I was passing by on Tuesday and stopped in for a couple of games of Dracula.

It played really nice - hopefully, I can get back down to play some more games at some point 👌
 
I saw you put up a decent score on Foo (1.4bn ish?). Was GC last time I played it but I only went on GZ tonight
Yeah about that I think, I got bored in the end because it's on early code and there was nothing left to do, hopefully they have updated the code

Had a day off so finally took my chance to come and try Playback. Had a really good time and managed to get on a couple of boards - high score #1 on Dr Who (455m) and STTNG (550m) so pretty achievable for anybody who loves putting in their initials. Enjoyed playing BSD for the first time as well, really clean machine!

Couple of maintenance points for @8bit-1up / @roadshow16 :

- STTNG - in Battle Simulation mode, the game crashed on two separate occasions when I shot a standup next to the Neutral Zone scoop (curse my terrible aim). I replicated this crash so it is quite a curious one. I did leave a note of this one with the front desk.

- Dirty Harry - when entering multiball, if I missed the first side ramp shot when the ball was kicked out of the warehouse I didn’t get a second ball for the MB. The MB scoring / jackpots still ran with a single ball, so I wondered if there was a stuck ball, but on draining it ended the ball so don’t think so. If I made the initial side ramp jackpot shot multiball worked just fine. There was also an issue with the coin mech where it ate a couple of coins with no credit and no return (after this happened twice it was switched off).

- Lethal Weapon 3 - coin mech rejected all pound coins I tried to put in it, so I couldn’t play it.

- High Speed 2 - first example of this I’ve played so not sure if this is normal or not, but the ball often didn’t make it round the loop from the plunge even though it looked like that was the intended route. The metal ramp diverter for the lock at the back seemed a bit “floppy” so sometimes blocked the loop when it was supposed to be up.

- AIQ - shooter lane / orbit rattled a bit, so I could never get a full plunge to go all the way round to give me a chance at the secret skill shot.

Will definitely be back and hope to be able to play more of the machines like FT and D&D once they’re up and running.
