I cant look away...... This is complete madness....Hope someone is making a note of all the prices...!!
I was wondering having not been to meuseum if the price paid are because they are NIB quality without a mark or anything on them and all 100 original. Outside wear and tear parts.
The prices seem rediculous, but I would have thought getting a 100 percent original mint condition lethal would be almost impossible which would reflect the premium price. Obviously you could by a fully restored one for less but it would be re-made parts, redecalled probably etc.
I've never been sure if people are after a machine looking cosmetically perfect or 100 original, I was always pretty impressed that my STTNG had all the original plastic but they did look a little worn but understandable due to its age.
Adams gold, if 100 percent mint, all original, with mint certificate probably is about right, if you consider a pinball heaven full restore is £14,000. 22 dollars + is Still a totally and utterly ridiculous price, but I'm guessing only a handful showroom condition exist.
