As long as you are happy with the machine mate that's all that matters. there have been many times where i have bought things in the past and then hand my **** handed to me a week or month later when the price has dropped by a lot.
But you have bought this as a keeper i think you said so never mind, and any way i can't bring myself to pay that much money on it that's like a weeks worth of starbucks coffee for me

I'd like to think with Stern being the big guy in town these smaller companies would be pulling out all the stops with customer service to try and bring in more sales

Absolutely not....the glass has honestly never been off of my Houdini or Hot Wheels. Only issue I have ever had with either was a loose audio cable on Houdini out of the box where it had been cable tied a little too tightly, 2 minute fix.
My GTF was an early build so didn't have the, now factory fitted, protectors on the tank which had to be ordered, the incorrect legs which was a packing issue with a couple of uk machines, both of which have now arrived (David even arranged for the import charges to be paid when AP made an error on the packing label value and so it required a payment before it could be delivered).
Also there is a small chip on the invisible glass which AP said they will replace when they get stock in of parts for their next title next month (they offered to send me a regular sheet now if I didn't want to wait).

David just offered up his help with any issues on any of my AP machines should they arise in the future, which I thought deserved a bit of kudos!!
