Multiballs

I've not played one nor seen one in the flesh.

I could well be taking one in part ex next week..

Like? Dislike?

ACDC BIBLE = so :sush: Awesome
biggrin-1.png

To be honest it is a good table - however that damn bell!!! after hearing it going off almost continuously at the SCS that would be the only thing to put me off!!

ive not played the le, but the 1 i play in glasgow is well, mmm, nah. i and others have found it pretty boring and not a lot of fun to play. im not talking a couple of credits, im taking about 7-8 visits to play. it seems unbalanced ??? like its not smooth to play, it almost feels bare/tinny. would i get 1, in short no, i just dont really enjoy playing it.

The only question that springs to mind is "do you want to own a music pin?" hearing them tracks over and over would pummel my nut

.

All (modern) machines have music which has potential to annoy after a while....I'm looking at you No Fear amongst others  . I dont see music themed pins as much different.

At least you have several different tracks to choose from...

John, you're right the pro version is naff and feels limited. The BIBLE felt exactly like it should and if Stern had set that as the standard model they would have blown away any rival manufacturers. Instead only the wealthy (and maybe a few lucky punters if on site) get to play the game as it was intended.

If & when they get annoying I'll turn the volume down. No big deal..

With last nights code update, it's gone from a brilliant machine to simply phenomenal. I was not a fan of AC/DC at all and only really knew a couple of songs but if you can play this and not be smiling/jumping around/enjoying yourself, then I don't know what machine would float your boat. It was already in my top two of all time, it's now at number one

..I'm clock watching.
Listening to ABBA's greatest hits helps pass the time away
biggrin-1.png
, if you ever get bored of the AC/DC tracks you can always sneak an old tape deck into the cab............ with wait there..............you guessed it, ABBA's greatest hits on tape as an alternative, dolby switch on to reduce hiss of course.

It's like the table comes with a Bose stereo. Serious punch.

I'm impressed, Gary.. Impressed I say.

Anyone know what the update brings to the party?

My nib is on the slow boat across the atlantic as I type

Cant wait

Mooseman I know the feeling! The AC/DC Premium that I ordered a while ago is probably keeping your's company on the long crossing.

Can't wait to join in the party as well!

Im hoping end of sept. is yours off phil tiltalot? If so they are prob on same ship. Phil says the time is taken up with bloody customs people lol. Wouldnt want no illegal imegrant hiding in my cab.

I quite liked it, but didnt 'love it' as much as i would of thought i should, considering acdc is one of my favourite bands and i obviously quite like a bit of pinball its all pretty odd.

My BIB LE lasted a few months with me in a local social club before i hit a point with it where i realised i wasnt really 'enjoying it' anymore - i never EVER got decent scores on it and just couldnt get along with it - was stressing me out to the point where at the end i found myself about to kick one of the legs one time - that was the final straw! (Im not a good player but not truly awful either so its a bit weird), shame as i would of liked to have seen the new update with the color-changing leds etc (The sounds and lighting are quite frankly out of this world arent they)

Ive now got a williams indy jones sitting in the same spot acdc occupied and i love it, plus ive got the grand champ score even though im up against some pretty stiff competition

Hasnt put me off buying NIB mind, hopefully if the predator thing happens thatll be my next one or if stern come up with something interesting thats possibly not superhero themed..

Think someone in this thread is now the current owner of my bib le

The sound grips me.. It's verry impressive.

Now to attempt to smash my Dad's score.

Well I guess you didn't take to the game if you're already offering it on Pinball Owners for £10K.

Check out the wear on this ac/dc pro. Its been played to DEATH!

There was a pic of one on site in America that was down to the wood around all the targets. It had a ton of plays but I guess the clear must have been bad as the only other Stern I have seen with major wear on a few games, was monopoly
