Genie is a bit floaty - I'm going to jack up the rear legs to give it a bit more umph.
I'm enjoying playing it.

Got rid of the nasty high voltage displays.
Went for green in Night Rider and Yellow in HGOT
Removed the F2 high voltage fuse off the rectifier board. This stops the 200vdc gettin into the sdb and around the score display wiring loom, which can give you a nasty shock!

New legs, levellers and bolts arrived. Also a new leg plate for genie as the existing one is stripped.

Spent the weekend swapping out lamp holders & incandescents for ledBars.

Was going to make a start on genie, but when I switched it on - noting at all.
The fuse in the 13A mains plug had blown, so I replaced it. Plugged it in and it tripped the circuit breaker for the pinball room.
A bit of a hunch, but I found the 40-odd year old EMI line filter had got a dead short.
I desoldered one of the mains in wires to figure out where the problem was. It was either the cable or the filter.
I’ll replace it with a new one tomorrow.

Im not familiar with these led bars, Alan. Whats the advantage over an led bulb 
I've used a set I got from Alan in my nine ball and they were amazing, no faffing about with dodgy sockets anymore or paying to replace old sockets with new , just screw into the existing socket hole and solder on the wire and the ground. Used the last few I had left over during the week and wished I had more. Very convenient, reliable and cheap
Similar to Yoppsicles from a guy in the States.

Exactly what @Mozie says. They are much cheaper and much more reliable than a socket and bayonet led bulb.Im not familiar with these led bars, Alan. Whats the advantage over an led bulb
I’ve just ordered another run of the cool whites, if anyone wants some.

genie got the Ledbar treatment this morning.
All 3 games now got LEDs on the playfield inserts.

playfield protectors to fit to nightrider and genie. Nightrider was easy enough - a few bits to take off inc flippers and spinners, but went on easy and looks and plays really well.
Next up Genie. Looks like all I need to remove are bottom flippers, spinner and pop caps to get this one fitted.
I’ve also got playboy and twiglet zone to do too:
playboy, again looks pretty easy. I’ve already removed the playfield parts.
TZ looks a lot more involved!
