John Bud celebratory tournament 19th April.
John Bud was a well known character in both the arcade scene and pinball scene. Well known for having a can of tennents in his hand too
He did a lot to help people in this group over the years. Always buying and selling cabs in the uk and europe. But in recent years he got really involved in the scottish pinball league and attended most of the events. A lot of us from the arcade and pin scene attended Johns funeral and decided it fitting to hold an event in his honour.
So, Ailsa and I have decided to hold a mini tournament in Johns name. It will be held at the pin meet at mine on the 19th of April (easter weekend so good excuse for folk to have a weekend away). All are welcome. Date is Saturday the 19th of April. Practice for the league meet is at 11am but we will pause and play a JB mini tournament around lunchtime. Thoughts just now are Stall Ball (Barrel Ball) on Labyrinth. Winner will receive some Tennents (highly appropriate!)
If anyone wishes to attend, it would be really nice to see you all. Search Catrine in Google maps for a rough idea of where it is and if you can make it, pm me and i'll share the full address. Again, it would be amazing to see as many people there as possible.
