ok it's not a fair fight for many reasons, but which one do you think is better?

no breakdowns by looks / sounds / themes / value for money / toys / novelty / politics / yadayadayada

just a straight choice, up to you - hopefully enough people will vote to show the public reception to both. i hope the forum software only allows one vote per person....

just a straight choice

If it's a choice between the 2, how can you have an option of Neither?

The pedant strikes back.........

pedants, doh!

i wanted to gauge the traffic, and so far there are 2 people out of 16 who don't care for either game.there are at least 2 other potential starters in the mix, like Captain Nemo, and Predator ....... but XMen and WoZ were both showcased this week .....

doh! i'm being drawn in, played with like a cat with a mouse

just vote, dammit!

until played - neither

OK,

views from my pin playing lad on X men. He's a BIG Marvel fan

Playfield figures way to big

Artwork ok - not as good as he thought it could be

looks a bit like a toy pinball machine

Overall he said "a bit dissappointing really"

My snippets on WOZ

Artwork integrated pretty well, interesting layout,do not like the apron.Toys seem better suited on this.

If priced the same WOZ would look like "more bang for buck"

REALLY dont like apron or theme on WOZ

WOZ may have advantage using Bally/WMS parts as they always feel a bit more robust to me.

I am not a Bally/WMS biased either.As I have more Stern,and more GTLB than B/Wms

Both overpriced and in long run cant help pinball to go back to the days of more pins on location in Britain-just helps do the opposite IMO

The Apron is a topper on the normal aprons on the LE machines. It's just a piece of wood you can remove

Also, bide your time until you say WOZ is overpriced. If some of the features I'm hearing about that are yet to be announced are true then I can only imagine JJP are struggling to break even with this pin. Rumours that net connectivity, a 5th PF toy, a surround sound bar in the back box and something special with the GI are all to be added to what we have already seen.

WOZ is coming fully loaded for sure. Just wish I had liked the theme. So, all WOZ owners get to keep their number for pin 2. Wonder how many will take up this offer? Pin number 2 could sell out in record time.

I'm really hoping Pin 2 from JJ pushes the playfield design a bit further ....at the moment I see a very nice pin, but I don't see it offering anything we haven't seen before playwise. Take away the LEDs and big screen and it could be a decent design from the 90s.

WOZ looks like it is going to be a great pinball machine but is as camp as Christmas - XMen could be such a great theme if a little more was spent on it. How on earth they can have a Magneto LE without metal ramps is beyond me - bonkers! My money will stay in my pocket for these two but I can't wait to play them if they can be found in the wild.

I dont have to bide my time. It's my opinion based purely on price.

If anyone thinks any new pin is worth £6.5k or whatever,IMO they're mad to pay that.

It's obviously your( and everyone elses) call what to pay,as it's your money.

People pay £30k plus for a car. It's all our own choice I guess,we're all different.

I do hope it's a great game and all, like yourself who have ordered one,are happy with their purchase:)

I just think, that for pinball to at least try and make a comeback, having them at £5.5k for a basic model is too much for an op to fork out.

For me to even remotely consider another NIB machine,at £5k plus,I would have to play it an awfull lot,and it would have to be a good gME.

I look forward to seeing, and maybe playing WOZ and X-men.As I do most new pins.

Problem is,prob due to reliabilty/cost.There are no new pins anywhere near me(or many others in the country).

It's a good job we have the Slam,Party etc to play these games,as there are very few out in the wild

It's not £6500, nearer £4000 when it leaves the factory . Shipping, distro mark up and 20%vat counts for the rest. That's not JJPs fault

so you you judge a price on the price it leaves the factory?

I judge by the price I can pick summat up for

Guess we are all different
