X-Men Next stern pin?

So despite all the rumours that pointed towards Avengers, it now seems certain that it is an X-Men comic book style pin, with original artwork. 5 interactive toys on the LE. Borg. Wonder what happened to Avengers??

Am I the only one bored with super hero/comic book themed pins now ? Like the films themselves all beginning to blur into one.

5 interactive toys? This sounds good. What I really want to know and what Stern will never tell us is how much budget there will be for it - or rather how the budget compares to say SM or ACDC. I am hoping, if it is going to come out when WOZ is out in the open, they will be pulling out all the stops, rather than cutting corners. Who knows! I think the theme is good - not really fussed about the xmen but it means there should be decent variety of modes/toys. Fingers crossed they might even put some metal ramps/wireforms on the playfield too - I just really like the sound they make

Maybe because Avengers has been such a hit, they have delayed it to allow it to be their first with LCD screen. Some rumours suggest this.

Strange to do an X-Men pin without a film to tie it into, you'd have thought Avengers would be a bigger seller just because it's more popular in the here and now because of the film. For pinheads and geeks either is a good theme as there's plenty of scope to do cool things but for pins in the wild you'd think people would be more likely to put money in Avengers.

.......some of the recent Marvel films have been **** IMO (Captain America in particular) but I loved the Avengers movie.

I really enjoyed Iron Man but Captain America is just SO square - has no edge or anything, just a shield and from what I can tell from the film, runs a bit faster and is a bit stronger than a normal person. I will watch Avengers when it comes out on dvd for sure.

All you have to do to get any info from those that have it on pinside is to promote a defiant, 'matter of fact' attitude, then challenge stupid people to bet against you for money. Raging 'word of god' pinheads will soon put you straight...haha.



As for the X-men theme? Hmmmm. Not really into the idea, but at least it will be comic book style instead of focusing on the recent movies. I imagine some cringeworthy callouts aplenty!
